Kamedi Varrick is the great-great-granddaughter of Iknik Blackstone Varrick and Zhu Li Moon, former President of the United Republic of Nations. She is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Future Industries Headquarters in Republic City,

Early Life[]
Kamedi was born in Republic City in 269 AG.
While she seemed likely to inherit ownership of Varrick Global Industries from the outset, when she was eight the company collapsed from bankruptcy as a result of an embezzlement scandal courtesy of her father, whom killed himself and Kamedi's mother not long after. With her family and their company gone, she ended up on the streets doing anything to survive, eventually becoming a lackey for the Triple Threat Triad just to eat.
It was around that time she discovered her talent for engineering, earning herself a position as a mechanic for the triad with the responsibility to keep their cars in top shape for both racing and getaways.
Employment at Future Industries[]
When Kamedi was fourteen, Future Industries took notice of her skills and recruited her for their factory floors. Since Kamedi couldn't just quit the triad, it necessitated Future Industries to buy her out of the Triple Threats, which they did after weeks of negotiations. But, from then on, Kamedi lived looking over her shoulder, unable to fully escape her past service to the triad.
As computers were becoming mainstream by this time, it was shortly after her recruitment by Future Industries that she discovered programming and quickly became versed in the subject. Within four years of her recruitment, she was already Future Industries' top programmer and engineer, and even developed skills in hacking. While she never showed inventiveness on par with her ancestors Iknik Varrick and Zhu Li Moon, by the time she turned eighteen she proved herself a competent designer and developer and rose through the ranks, earning herself a promotion to Chief Technology Officer and a seat on the Board of Directors, giving her a say in the company's affairs.

Absent any bending, Kamedi is a skilled martial artist, having learned self-defense for most of her life. She's more than capable of hand-to-hand combat and can knock out her opponents with direct blows if given the chance.
Engineering[]
From an early age she showed intelligence and engineering talent, though not quite up to par as her famous ancestors. Regardless, for most of her life, Kamedi has been fascinated by engineering, mechanics, computers, mechatronics, and cybernetics. She's capable of taking computers and other electrical or mechanical devices apart and putting them back together expertly without damaging the parts, and she can write computer programs and other codes flawlessly. She also capable of hacking into networks with some of the tightest security.
Vehicular Skills[]
Along with her engineering and programming skills, Kamedi is a gifted driver and pilot, capable of driving a satomobile and piloting a plane and boat.
