Jiu is a firebender who now lives in Republic City. She was born in 199 AG to her father of the Fire Nation and Aijin of the Earth Kingdom. She had an older twin brother, Zhengyi.
She was locked up in her house by her mother alongside her brother. When she was the age of 16, the White Lotus found them and took them to Air Temple Island.

Jiu was born in Plains Village in 199 AG to a Fire Bending Father and an non-bender, Aijin, alongside her twin brother, Zhengyi. Her father left her at the age of 4 months due to him not wanting a family. Aijin was enraged by this decision and pinned the blame on the kids. She would lock her kids up in the house and rarely let them out. They didn't have much advanced technology expect for a single radio and an old broken TV. Aijin especially hated Jiu due to her being a fire bender, just like her father.
When she reached the age of sixteen, the Order of the White Lotus found them and took them to Republic City, to teach Zhengyi. She ended up joining Team Avatar and married Yua in 224 AG. Yua had a son, Kalzang, in 226 AG.
Personality[]
Jiu is a sarcastic and meat loving girl who likes to make fun of her friends in a loving way. She also doesn't like to show sympathy to her opponents and also thinks that she is right. Jiu, sometimes, can be empathetic, kind, sweet and a loving person.

Jiu started Firebending at a young age and showed much skill in it. Over time, she developed her skills and become one of the most high ranking fire benders of her generation.
