Nongjangju is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan.
History[]
Born in the Western Air Temple, and was given the name "Nongjangju". Though the nuns at the temple have shorten it to "Jangju" as a nickname. The only nun who named him by his full name was his guardian nun.
Like all Air Nomad children, he was given an apple to gift a sky bison, making the bison his life time companion. He was taught how to care for his companion and how to ride it.
At the age of six, he was old enough to be transferred to one of the two male temples. He was transferred to the Southern Air Temple, and there he was taken under the wing of a guardian monk who raised Nongjangju.
At the age of 20, Nonjangju, was gifted with his airbending tattoos for mastering the element of air. At the age of 22, he took the position of farmer on the Southern Air Temple farms because, the original farmer had died of old age.
For sixteen years Nongjangju, had operated the farm along with farmhands. Monk Yong Ten, and Avatar Rong Yan have encountered Nongjangju, when they went to the farmlands to lend a hand.
They both helped him, Yong Ten would plant the seeds into the small holes, and Rong Yan would pull the wooden cart to the middle where the hallways to the dining area are located at.
Nongjangju, had crops of vegetables and fruits on the fields, and on the other far side of the fields there was wheat crops. It seems that Nongjangju, is head of the whole farm, and takes care of the fields himself, along with farmhands that are usually teenage monks and adult monks. The children load the carts full of vegetables and fruits that they hand picked.
The older men, are in the wheat fields, using airbending to slice the wheat crops, they then bundle them place them over their shoulders and carry them onto the carts so that the monks that are lined up may take the wheat to the kitchen for them to be made into flour, then bread and other flour made treats.

In chapter 17, he is not seen airbending, but when working on the farm he uses his airbending to slice the wheat crops.

- His full name is Nongjangju, but I felt like naming him Jangju for short.
- Nongjangju is "farmer" in Korean.
