Ilya is the current Avatar and immediate successor of Aang. She is the former star-student of Master Pakku and a native of the Southern Water Tribe.
History[]
Growing up a now-Waterbending Southern Water Tribe, she was taught the art of fighting by Master Pakku himself and was taught healing by Katara, after her return to the Southern Water Tribe upon her husband, Aang's death. After 14 years of ice and snow, she decided towards a life of adventure, travelling to the Foggy Swamp in order to enhance her Waterbending abilities, she then travelled west, hoping to educate herself in the Firebending arts, her natural opposite, hoping to discover something about herself and her own Bending. There, she met Rosutoko and Hifito and defeated a group of Firebenders whot threatened them. After learning of the plot to destroy all other Benders, she teamed up with the two Fire Nation teens and went with them to defeat Rosutoko's siblings in order to save the world.
Abilties[]
As a Waterbender, she can fully manipulate water in all its forms. Having grown up around snow and ice, she is most comfortable Snowbending, however is educated in Swampbending, Mudbending and Bloodbending, although she was taught to onlu use this is her life depended upon it, and so far it hasn't.
Personality[]
She is a cheerful, happy-go-lucky teenager who is confident in her abilities as a fighter, Bender and healer. She likes to see the brighter side of life, but can be serious when the situation demands. Ilya has a great bond to her friends, and can make new friends easily, however does not fully comprehend the emotional backlash her actions may have on her current friends. She tries to do what's best for everyone, and tries to follow in the footsteps of Aang, having been told of his kindness and bravery firsthand by Katara.
