Hwamei was the 185th avatar and the 47th earth avatar, and founder of the Hao Dynasty.

History[]

Early Life[]

Avatar Hwamei was born in the middle ring of Ba Sing Se in an era of peace, when she was identified as the avatar at the age of 16, she set out to become a fully-realized avatar, whom she completed in 1150 BG, she then spent the rest of her early life in peace.

Ascension of the Hao Dynasty[]

In 1151 BG, Earth King Qianhao, the last king of the Qiang Dynasty, died without an heir, and the earth kingdom was thrown into chaos, with many clans fighting to rule the whole earth kingdom, one of these clans, was the Hao Clan, founded by Avatar Hwamei who stepped in, assembling an army and defeating the other candidates who wanted to rule the entire earth kingdom, founding the Hao Dynasty, and forcing the other candidates that wanted to rule the entire earth kingdom to surrender, with the Hao monarchs ruling the earth kingdom for the rest of it's history until 270 BG when Earth King Yi Ming, the 45th earth king, died without an heir.

Life as earth monarch and death[]

In 1100 BG, Avatar Hwamei gave birth to Earth King Jiaqai (31st Earth Monarch) who would eventually succeeded her in 1092 BG after her death and subsequent reincarnation into Avatar Huo-Ran of the Fire Nation (Sei'naka clan)

Also, Earth Queen Hwamei, the 30th earth monarch, is one of two earth monarchs to be female, the other being Earth Queen Hou-Ting, the 53rd earth monarch.

Appearance in the animated series[]

Avatar Hwamei only appeared in Avatar: The Last Airbender when the mural of the five earth avatars started glowing upon Avatar Aang (199th avatar and 41st air avatar) returning in 99 AG.
