Avatar Huang is the main character of Avatar Story Of Huang, He is the Avatar after Korra.
He first appears in Book 1 Chapter 2 of Avatar Story Of Huang.
Huang's parents
Huang's father is King Chao, he is the current king of Omashu and a descendant of King Bumi, King Chao is despised by the people of Omashu and is considered one of the worst kings, this is because during his time as King, recession and crime rates increased, another main cause for the hate towards Chao is the Wu-Movement, the people of Omashu want Omashu to be changed into a democracy and not remain a monarchy so they protest and loot and damage properties just so that Omashu can join the Wu-Movement.
Huang's mother's name is unknown, she is mysterious and is not referenced or spoken much of in ASOH, this is mostly because she passed when Huang was just four years old hence why her impact is minimal, the little we know is that she was a kind woman who loved her family and her people, she would constantly go around Omashu giving food to the poor or helping the needy whichever way she could, it was after her death Omashu started to break apart, there was no one to feel in her role as a queen, mother and wife, the cause of her death is unknown but is hinted towards an accident since she travelled a lot.
Huang's friends
Huang is the prince therefore there is a limit to the amount of friends he can have and which type of friends he can have, the only notable friend of Huang in book one is Jin, Jin is the son of general Fang, the general in charge of Omashu's army and also the adviser to the king. Jin and Huang became friends at an early age, They both shared the traumatic experience of loosing their mothers so they quickly understood each other and became inseparable, although Jin and Huang are good friends, conflict usually rises between them due to their secretive natures. When Huang discovered he was the Avatar, he chose to keep it a secret from Jin and it leads to certain complications that progresses the plot of book one.
Another friend of Huang is Uki, although she meets Huang at the beginning of book 1, she easily clicked with him due to her positive attitude and optimism, Uki meets Huang in a very bad time which leads him to distant himself from her but he eventually opens up to her since she was the second person to discover Huang to be the Avatar, Uki easily became so close to Huang that it felt as if she had always been a part of his life, during the events of the book, she laughs with him, cries with him, suffers with him and even commit atrocities with him, in the end, his relationship with Uki becomes a key part of his story as the Avatar.
