Halois is leader of the project to restore the Order of the White Lotus in TLAT.

History[]

Early Life[]

Not much is known about Halois's early life. He was born into an average family in the capital. His great-great grandfather was a member of the White Lotus; so his family had a deep respect for the dormant group. This loyalty was passed on to Halois. He and his sister and 2 brothers were happy. Halois was then discovered to be a firebender. Every day he was sent to a firebending class on the other side of town. Sometimes he would not get home until very late. When he came of age, he joined the Fire Sages. Though not the strongest, he was a very good student. His firebending did not improve much; but his knowledge of the art did. His wise decisions on important issues got him a spot as a high sage. He made good judgement; however he often pushed getting involved in rebuilding the Order of the White Lotus.

Book 1[]

During Book 1 while discussing the White Lotus with the Avatar, he was nearly assassinated. His servant, however was caught in the crossfire and died. He was later captured, along with the other good sages, by the rouge sages and assassins. Baizken, however came to their rescue. He and the others met up with Gatton and Smoke (TLAT); then, they took on the assassins. He fought hard and helped fight back until the others had won.

Book 2[]

In Book 2, he met Gatton at the Festival and explained how far the project had come and gave an invitation to the Air Temples which Gatton excepted, bringing his grandchildren. He arrived at the Northern Air Temple with his guards and marveled at the structures. He then met the Head Monk, Senzin.

Abilities[]

Halois has shown he is smart but not powerful fighter. His bending may not be as strong as the other sages; but he knows how to use his current power wisely. He, however is the weakest high sage.

Personality[]

Halois has shown he feels a deep feeling of loyalty. To his family, his nations, the sages, and mostly the OWL. He also has a respect for others; however he is not afraid to tell them when he thinks they are wrong. He also has a mostly upbeat attitude; but sometimes he has been a tad cowardly.

Trivia[]

  • This sage still hasn't mastered all of firebening's forms.
  • He has a fear of imps and other strange made-up creatures.
  • Halois and Pytharus were friends back when they were students at the temple.
