Gun was the 192nd avatar and the 49th water avatar, he was considered to be the absolute worst avatar of all time, even worse than Kuruk.

History[]

Early Life, and life before Mesose's death.[]

Avatar Gun was born and raised in the southern water tribe during a peaceful time for the four nations, in 660 BG, he met and befriended Mesose, an earth kingdom boy from the Lower Ring of Ba Sing Se, being childhood best friends, similar to the friendship between Avatar Roku (the 198th avatar and the 51st fire avatar) and Crown Prince Sozin of the Fire Nation, whom he later nicknamed "Se-Se" in 650 BG at age 14, when his identity as the avatar was confirmed in 648 BG when he was 16, like most avatars, Mesose, alongside an unnamed firebender who was his firebending master, and unnamed airbender who was his airbending master, accompanied him on his avatar journey, he became a fully realized avatar in 640 BG at age 24.

Eventually, Mesose became an skilled poet and enginner in the earth kingdom, being a famous scholar, at times, Avatar Gun teased Mesose for a lack of progress and him focusing on too many projects at once, Mesose wrote treasties on several topics, including one notable book called "A Discourse on Floodplain Management", eventually, a copy of this book survived in the western air temple's great library, which would be used much later by Jetsun to help Avatar Yangchen (195th avatar and the 50th air avatar) when she was possessed by Avatar Gun, the 192nd avatar and the 49th water avatar.

Mesose's death and beyond[]

In 613 BG, Gun's airbending and firebending companion died in a previous tsunami at Ha'an, due to this, Gun eventually grew more and more disdainful of humanity as his adventures with Mesose (which had been going on since his childhood) continued, due to him being possessed more and more by Avatar Ino, a water avatar long before his time, at such times, Mesose, Avatar Gun's childhood friend, tried to calm him down, whom another happened at the port city just one year later in 612 BG, when Gun could only weaken the disaster, but failed to stop the tsunami, leading to Mesose's death, which was a very traumatic experience for Avatar Gun, that Avatar Yangchen, the 195th avatar and the 50th air avatar, relived when she was eight in 431 BG, After Mesose's death, Gun disappeared from the public for an extended period before resuming his duties as avatar, when he resumed his duties however, the entire world was a very different place, due to the anger of the spirits over Mesose's death, the whole world, including Avatar Gun's home, the Southern Water Tribe, was thrown into a dark age where all sources of chaos and destruction affected the four nations at the same time, ranging from disasters, to civil wars, to even diseases such as pentapox, eventually, a pentapox outbreak spread through the entire world, with many citizens all over the four nations being infected, Gun himself was eventually infected by pentapox in 600 BG, eventually dying in 596 BG to the disease, and eventually reincarnating into Avatar Salai of Omashu.

Also, Gun, the grand secretariat of Ba Sing Se around Avatar Korra (200th avatar and 51st water avatar)'s time, was named after Avatar Gun, in his honor.
