Fire Nationalist pantheon are minor characters that are never physically seen in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan. The pantheon consists of eight gods and the chief deity, Uma, Hinokami, Hogo-sha, Senso, Izotaki, Chie, Igaku, Kinzoku, and Tiandi. They are the gods the Fire Nation prays to for things, and each one has control over something that is part of the modern Nationalist culture.

History[]

Origins[]

They are all to be considered children of Tiandi, Uma is the Nationalist version of Tiandi's wife Nugua. These two deities gave birth to all others except Shouhu-gui who is an offspring of the Lion Turtle Jianhuren.

Chie[]

Chie is the goddess of wisom, intelligence, artistry, and of scholars, Nationalists seek Chie out for wisdom, intelligence to pass academical tests, scholars find themselves praying at her altar at a local temple. Every artist with a famous masterpiece prayed to Chie the night before. She's depicted as a woman with glasses that carries a giant scroll, this scroll is known as, The Scroll of Forbidden Knowledge.

Hinokami[]

Hinokami is the god of fire, often depicted as a dragon. Hinokami and his brood taught the Fire Island people to master firebending and its various sub-techniques. At a time where every island in the Fire Archipelago contained inhabitants who could use firebending in a different way than the others.

Hogo-sha[]

Lion turtle of fire who granted the ancestors the ability to bend the element of fire. Hogo-sha was the lion turtle where the first Avatar, Wan, lived and his back was ruled by the Cho family. Hogo-sha is also worshipped as the god of justice.

Igaku[]

God of medicine, healing, and the harvest worshipped by farmers for a good harvest, and by healers for healing the ailments of the ill. Depicted a muscular man clothed in vines and plants with a crown made of thorns.

Izatoki[]

Goddess of time and death, rumored to lead the dead into the Spirit World. Depicted in three forms, a baby, an adult woman, and an old woman.

Kinzoku[]

God of craftsmen, blacksmiths, potters, glassblowers, fletchers, clothiers, and merchants. Depicted as a blacksmith in iron armor with a blacksmith hammer and anvil, worshipped by craftsmen and merchants. Only recently as of Avatar Mun Jin has he been considered the god of blacksmiths.

Senso[]

The god of war, one of the gods worshipped during the times before the Fire Nation was established by Inzei and Toz. During times of war in recent time periods, worshippers often give offerings for blessings from Senso.

Uma[]

The chieftess deity, known as Tiandi's wife and mother of the world. Given a different name by the four nations. She rules the Spirit World with her husband Tiandi. Goddess of love, fertility, babies, and the Sun. Patron deity of mothers, children and marriage. The sun is a gift to the Fire Nation people, as a source of energy to become stronger.
