Osamu is the Fire Lord during Avatar Kwan Chun's lifetime. He is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan.
History[]
Fire Lord Osamu, was born to Fire Lord Kaolan in 990 BG, two years before Kaolan rose to the throne. Raised by a single father due to mother's death during the birth. When Osamu, was at the ripe of age of four, his father Kaolan had trained him in firebending. Only soon mastering the element once the boy had turned eighteen years old.
Kaolan stepped down at age 67 and gave his power to his son Osamu, at age 37. The Yowai Dynasty continued with its fifth heir to the throne of the Fire Nation. The Avatar had came and stayed for three years. After his father Kaolan had died, rumor had it that Osamu was going to be overthrown and assassinated.
The Avatar had of course stopped this plan from actually happening. The plot's leader was found to be his son Kudeta. Kudeta failed to kill his father but killed Kwan Chun's girlfriend, Aki. Which resulted in his permanent end. Osamu's reign had no wars whatsoever, though he did send troops to protect the Air Nomad temples. Kwan Chun, had requested troops to defend the temples from the Earth Kingdom army.
Even though Earth King Yao, had known of the Fire Lord's reinforcements arriving to assist the Air Nomads, the Earth King had no qualms of declaring war with the Fire Nation.
His concubine granted him a new heir a son he named, Sensai, Sensai rose to power soon after Osamu abdicated. Which then resulted in his death as well his father's in a rebellion led by the invading Aztlan clan.
Later Life[]
In his later years, Osamu was killed in a rebellion while his son Sensai ruled. This happened when Avatar Anana was around 110 years old. It was the perfect time to usurp the throne from the Yowai Dynasty of Fire Lords.
The rebellion's leader Yozei killed Fire Lord Sensai in an Agni Kai, Agni Kais rarely end in deaths. After Sensai died, Yozei was crowned the new Fire Lord and thus ended the Yowai Dynasty and begun the Lu Dynasty.
The year was 802 BG, Fire Lord Yozei exiled Crown Prince Moroi and his family from the Fire Nation. Or else he'd kill them he spared the Yowai family from execution. The last two Fire Lords of the Yowai clan were unfit to rule the Fire Nation, when the Sun Warrior clan discovered the Fire Nation royal family was corrupted by Kingsmen blood.
Yozei's rule was peaceful although while there was a small plot to take him out it was later revealed that Prince Moroi of Yowai led this. The former prince was executed for his crimes for returning to the nation after being exiled. However, while Moroi left he left descendants in the Qiangda Kingdom who would later return to marry into the Lu Dynasty.

Osamu, was born a firebender and was trained in firebending at four years old. Mastering the element with the help of his father Kaolan, at the age of 18.
