Dedao is a shy 15-year old. He is the Earth Kingdom Avatar born after Korra. He has already mastered Earth and Fire, and has learned the basics of Metalbending. He travelled to Republic City to learn Air and Waterbending.
Background[]
Dedao was born only 20 minutes after Korra died of illness to Hao Tun, a Dai Li captain. He learned Earthbending from his father which he excelled in, mastering it by the time he was 8. This was around the same time he learned that he was the Avatar. He travelled to the Fire Nation to learn Firebending, which he found was his favorite bending style. He spent almost 6 years learning this art and figuring out creative ways to learn it. He became romantically involved with a young non-bending girl, Biyu. Together they traveled to Republic City so Dedao could master Airbending and Waterbending.

Dedao is a calm but level-headed boy.
