Dai Hau Kuiwu was the former Queen Consort of the 56th Earth King Gun Kuiwu now serving as the Queen-Mother to her son the 57th Earth King. Queen-Mother Dai Hau is a minor character in the fanon Avatar: Civil Strife.

History[]

Dai Hau was a young woman who married Earth King Gun a few years before he and his brothers along with their clan soldiers conquered the city of Omashu and overthrew the southern Han Dynasty. Once they established themselves as Queen and King of the Oma Kingdom, she bore Gun a son in 1935 BG, the heir to the Kuiwu Dynasty throne.

Years later, Dai Hau bore Gun a second child, their daughter Chu Zi in 1931 BG, while she won't be a successor in line, her arrangement for marriage was established early on during her life. When Gun passed away, and Yeman took the throne Dai Hau became the Queen-Mother standing alongside her son as an alternate adviser.

Coming of Age[]

Dai Hau stood alongside her daughter on her sixteenth birthday, as she completed all the ceremonial rituals a girl of the Kuiwu clan must take. Which included sacrificial offering, arena fighting, and honoring her parents. When her daughter was nervous she reassured her that everything will be okay and that she needed to trust on the plan her parents made.
