The death of Earth King Kuiwu Gun came suddenly, Yeman's father passing away at the age of seventy-six due to an unknown illness that took a week to deteriorate him. The crowned prince only being twenty-winters-old, taking a massive weight on his shoulders at a such a young age. The ceremony's preparation took about a week to get things together for the coronation and the rituals that are involved traditionally.
As he prepared on the day of his coronation, his uncle, Cai Do, the Grand Secretariat of the Oma Kingdom walked down the aisle with Yeman to the outside of the palace. He promised his nephew that he'd do the best he can in advising him as his father's successor and will do everything to assure the Court not to usurp the young King. Upon Gun's final wishes he wanted to be cremated in the bonfire, and have his remains scattered in the gardens inside the palace. The second wish was to be succeeded by his son Yeman, once Cai Dao gave the speech for the coronation he crowned his nephew as the new Earth King.
Yeman prepared for the ritual which was sacrificing an ether-swine to Tian Fu, reciting a prayer and drinking spirits from a chalice. All traditional rituals a new chief of the Kuiwu clan must take, after all the Kuiwu Dynasty comes from a clan. Gun being a former leader and giving his position and title to his left-hand man.
