Chi is Avatar Yang's pet jackalope and was adopted by Yang after being found feeding on leftover food thrown away at Misty Palms Oasis.
History[]
Early life[]
Chi was born in the Si Wong Desert, at some point she came to Misty Palms Oasis and ate the leftover food thrown away by the residence. Yang found her when she was just a baby, all alone, eating leftovers thrown on the streets which led Yang to believe she was abandoned by her parents or her parents had died, Yang brought her inside the room he was staying in, and gave her food and water, when Yang was getting ready to leave Chi followed him, when Yang realised she was following him he stopped, Chi also stopped and then stared at Yang. Yang couldn't resist taking her with him not to mention she was homeless, so he picked her up and held her while riding towards Republic City on Nuinai.
Personality[]
Chi is a very shy around people but she took an instant liking to Yang as he gave her food and took her into his room in the warmth. She can get frightened easily and goes to Yang or Nuinai for protection if she feels threatened, but will usually get into petty arguments or fights with creatures smaller or a similar size to her if provoked, but usually she friendly around those she trusts and is loving and caring.

- Chi comes from the Chinese word Qì which means abandoned.
- Chi is a hybrid between a jackrabbit & antelope.
