Mako woke up seeing a Ba Sing Se-like wall.
"Well, looks like we must be here," Mako said to himself.
Naga collapsed on the ground exhausted.
"What's going on?"
"Korra, you're up! Were here!"
Korra jumped. "Already?"
"Yeah, I guess."
Korra walked up to the wall entrance where two guards were standing.
"Who are you?" One of the two guards asked.
"I'm Korra."
"Korra? Pft, we get like 20 Korras a day, get lost."
"No, I'm the real Korra, the Avatar?" Korra insisted.
"Prove it," the guard said, annoyed.
Korra airbended in his face. "Just let me in and there will be no issues, no problems at all."
The guards let Korra in and tried to make it that Mako would not be able to go through but Korra grabbed Mako and spun the guards. After entering, they were shocked to see tall glass building more modern than those in Republic City, it was like a modern version of Ba Sing Se.
"Wow, now I know why the Earth King wants this place so bad. Doesn't mean he has to conquer it though."
"How about we take a tour around the city, I bet there must be something interesting to do around here if it's so dense."
"That's a great idea, let's go exploring especially when the Earth King coming in a few days hoping to take whatever he can now lets just do that," Korra said hyperly to Mako.
"Uh, I'm sorry I said something..."
"Sorry, why would you be sorry? It's a great idea!"
"Wait, so you weren't being sarcastic and hotheaded?"
"I AM NOT HOTHEADED!"
"Again, sorry I said something."
Mako and Korra were walking down the street. Mako stopped at a gift store when he saw an array of maps on display; he browsed around as Korra got impatient.
"Which one do you think that I should take, Korra? This map? Or this one? Oh, how about this one?"
"You're starting to act a lot like Bolin recently, your goofy brother. What happened to the tough guy, Mako?" Korra said with heart eyes.
"Uh... So this map, right?" Mako said, ignoring what Korra said.
"Yeah, that one."
Korra and Mako continued walking until they came across a large crowd gathering around something that seemed to be the City Hall.
"I wonder what kind of rip off this guy is trying to sell."
"And I give you the extension of your radio, it gives you sound and pictures live. I give you the, live mover, the television! This thing will be able to, without any film strips, display anything that is beaking out like from that new antenna that we build over there!"
Korra and Mako turn around to look at the antenna, and then they turn to each other.
"So what is this? Something that turns Telecommunication signals as used with radios, but to make moving pictures too?"
"That's correct," the salesperson said as he pointed to Mako. "Now we need just one film strip or mover and send its signal out for everyone here who has this device to watch. I will run a demonstration."
Korra and Mako watch the demonstration of the projector-like television.
After the demonstration, the large crowd disperses. Korra and Mako walk down the street.
"So, Mako, what do you think about this place?"
"It's okay, not a place I dream about living in, but it's good."
"Who do you think has more high-rises, Mako?"
"I'm still going to say Republic City."
Korra's stomach rumbles. Korra spots a restaurant in the distance.
"Mako, how about we stop for lunch at the restaurant?"
"Okay, sounds good."
Korra and Mako walk toward the restaurant. One of the waiters seat them in the outdoor patio. Korra and Mako order what they want, and then they enjoy their meal and carry on with their day.
Korra and Mako walk down the street approaching the oceanfront with a cool breeze coming from the South Pole. They stop at a park that is at the Oceanfront.
"This cool breeze reminds me of my home... at the South Pole," Korra said as she stared at the cool ocean bringing cold temperatures from the South Pole.
"I think it is getting late, Mako. Maybe we should find find a hotel or something."
"Yeah, I guess that would be a good idea."
Korra and Mako set out a quest to find a hotel to stay in for the night. After their long search, they finally found a decent hotel in the city to stay for the night.
