Trivia[]
- This episode was split into 4 due to a newfound workflow, prioritizing comodity and engangement for new readers and an easy process of production for future episodes.
- Part of the fight choreography is a tribute to past water vs water confrontations in the franchise as it copies the moves, partly so Parker could learn how to draw Waterbending, including:
- Katara vs Pakku in "The Waterbending Master"
- Korra vs Unalaq in "Darkness Falls"
- Korra vs Tarrlok in "When Extremes Meet"
- Kya vs Ming-Hua in "The Ultimatum"
- Chinese-spanish artist influencer 'Sunfwer' was featured as a cameo as one of Iruka's students Hikar defeats.
- It's implied Hikar has beaten every single one of Iruka's students in the beginning, as well has having 50 consecutive wins, which could potentially mean that he either defeated the 6 seen students around 10 times each, or that he defeated more unseen students, the answer remains unknown.
- This episode also briefly features Hikar airbending for the first time on-screen, by performing the iconic "marble trick". Despite what many would think, it's not due to a spiritual connection to Aang since it was long lost since 171 AG, but rather it being a running gag among airbenders in his honor.
