"Attachments" is the fifth episode of Book One: Metal of Hikar's Spiritual Chronicles, and the fifth overall in the series.

The new Avatar is the only one capable of bringing peace and balance to the world.
Hikar and his inner circle now know that he's the new Avatar, and such information shal be kept away from the world till the Avatar is ready, however, after yet another stong emotional episode, in the middle of the Middle School prom, Hikar accidentally firebend again, this time in from of hundreds of witnesses. The secret of the Avatar is no more, and Hikar has to start his training as soon as possible.
Synopsis[]
Hikar is ready to leave Republic City with the White Lotus and Amala to start his new life as the Avatar, but deep feelings keep him haunted and insecure. As he remember what he has been thoguh the last couple weeks, knowing he is the Avatar, he will have to face the hard truths and be ready to move on.

Released in April 25th of 2021 in Webtoon, over the course of four months managed to give the comic an overall score of 9.69/10 and garner around 16k reads.
Trivia[]
- This episode wasn't part of the original script, it was added in the final version to give the pre-timeskip arc of Hikar becoming the Avatar a closure, and a proper end to Hikar's first character arc.
- The production schedule of this episode was halted due to the events of the COVID-19 pandemic plus the catching up of the "Legend of Genji" fancomic production.
- The featured airport is inspired by both the Porto Airport and the Tokyo Narita Airport. The 3d Model was entirely done in Blender
- Much of the production was lost in a computer crash right after publishing the Episode, losing material that was hoped to be reused in the future such as the airport and vehicles such as Amala's private jet.
