Buyi II is the queen of Omashu. Despite the position being reduced to a mere constitutional title, she is a very personable figure across the Earth Federation.
History[]
Once Xiao was formally announced as the Avatar, Buyi let the Order of the White Lotus know that she was personally willing to instruct him as his earthbending master; however, the honor ultimately went to Wuji Beifong.
When Xiao faced an expenditure scandal and Wuji went south, Buyi let them stay at the rebuilt Omashu Royal Palace, showering the Avatar with attention. However, the stay was only temporary, and Xiao and Wuji left near the winter solstice in order for the Avatar to contact Korra.
