Bultina Sakura Silverfox (BULL-tea-nuh) is a non-bender teen girl, daughter of an Earth Kingdom family, chi blocker and expert knife thrower who is friends with the current Avatar, Hikar Firestone, and has great fighting abilities. She's currently in a romantic relationship with Tao Tenba. She has a sister, Kosen Silverfox.
Physical appearance[]
Bultina is a well developed pubertal girl, of an athletic build, thin waist, and a medium-sized bust. She has a rare natural ginger hair trait which is only shown in the Silverfox family, specially on both her mother and her sister; she tends to wear her hair tied in a ponytail with a pink hairband, leaving two hair strands in front of her ears, and when being formal, she ties her hair in a single braid. She's also described to have moss green eyes, a particular tone which is almost close to blue, but yet seen as green.
When dressing formal, she wears a long dress consisting of pink and silver ribbons, and a long green dress, with one strand over her left shoulder, and green high heels. In her normal attire she wears a sleeveless, olive green, turtleneck jersey, as well as a pair of shorts, and sandals during summer. In her fighting gear, she adds to her normal attire a pack of ten throwing knives: four on two ribbons on her back, two each side of a grey belt, and one each ankle.
History[]
Early Life[]
Grown up in the coastal city of Yetai Tong, in the western Earth Confederacy, she was always friends with Hikar, Kensi and Denryoku, as the only girl in the group. In 244 AG, the White Lotus came to make a visit to her house, between many others, to determine if she was the Avatar or not, and later went to the Firestone household.
254 AG[]
By the end of spring in 254 AG, after a rappel activity with her friends, Kensi, Shaila, and Tao Tenba, she witnessed Hikar, who was an earthbender for a long time, firebending for the first time into a bush the river, after him suffering a small emotional crisis, and him having been rejected by Bultina on the dance. They all went to the closest police department to report the event that his earthbender friend was also a firebender, and thus, the Avatar. Such news were so quickly reported that a member of the White Lotus who was present, immediately took Hikar to the presence of Asami Sato. After that, her, Shaila and Kensi were left in the city reporting the news to their close circle.
Before Hikar permanently left Republic City, she and Hikar had a moment where he confessed that his romantic feelings for her were part of a pattern of relying on attachments to cope with the trauma of Denryoku's death, and that he was ready to "move on...to let go". She accepted this with pride, hugging him as he left for his training.
254-257 AG[]
After Hikar's departure for his Avatar training, Bultina and her friends committed to being his support system. She stated to Iruka Sato that Hikar was their friend above anything else, and she was willing to become stronger and face dangerous situations to have his back.
Bultina remained dedicated to her goal of working for the Republic City Police Department (RCPD), all while she, Kensi, & Shaila, as well as the support of her sister, formally decided to form and be part of Hikar's Team Avatar.
257 AG[]
By the time she finished high-school, she formally applied to the RCPD, completed the necessary paperwork, and secured an internship with the department; coincidentally, Hikar returned to Republic City later that week, at Rhynoki Pub. She playfully teased him about taking three years to master the four elements, a goal he had boasted he would achieve in less than a year. Her friends formally declared her a member of the new "Team Avatar".
Shortly after, she witnessed Hikar's first public battle against a masked assailant known as "The Red Airbender". Then, a second hooded figure, a bloodbender, arrived and paralyzed Hikar and his friends; as the bloodbender removed Hikar's bending momentarily, Bultina was the only one who partially retained control over her body. Demonstrating a combination of skill and mental fortitude, she momentarily broke free and faced both the bloodbender and the Airbender, proving to be a tough opponent despite her lack bending, and her skilled use of her signature tractor weaponry.
She was eventually thrown against a wall, but her fall was broken by Keishing and Yurei, airbenders from a responding RCPD task force which was commanded by her mother, Captain Kimyona Silverfox. Once the assailants retreated, Hikar's unconscious brief activation of the Avatar State restored his bending, and both him and Bultina quickly took charge of the situation.
Personality[]
Bultina is strong-willed, determined, and highly pragmatic, serving as the grounded anchor for her group. Her defining trait is her unwavering loyalty to her friends, whom she treats with a protective, "big-sister-like" care. This loyalty, however, can be a weakness, making her stubborn and prone to taking unnecessary risks to shield others in battle.
Despite this, Bultina is a natural leader who exhibits exceptional intelligence and composure under stress, allowing her to quickly transition from shock to action. She is also emotionally mature, demonstrated by her supportive and accepting attitude toward Hikar's need for emotional growth. Though generally serious, specially when the situation requires it, she possesses a teasing and playful side reserved for her closest circle, as well as a kind and charismatic persona people are not reluctant to approach.
Abilities[]
Despite being a nonbender, Bultina is a fearless, skilled and nimble close-range and medium-range fighter, willing to take on any opponent, even a lethal bender.

Her application and subsequent internship with the Republic City Police Department (RCPD) indicate a proficiency and affinity in investigative work, physical conditioning, and tactical leadership, possibly inherited from her mother.

She's been training since she was 13, when she knew her younger sister was a metalbender and she wasn't. She's really good at it and she can even throw three knives at a time, and fortunately she has a great target shot. Thanks to her knife throwing abilities, she's considered a long-range oponent as well that makes her comparable to her bending colleages.
Hand to hand combat[]
Chiblocking[]
She knows the art of chi-blocking, as her mother passed down all their knowledge in the technique to defend herself as a non-bender, plus the interest she showed in learning it. She can easily paralyze or block someone's bending if her opponent doesn't know much of the weak points of the technique, as well as she can block with both her fists and her tip-toes by kicking. She's known to use and master this technique since very young, as she used it on her friends when doing outdoor physical activites so they wouldn't be able to use bending to cheat.
Heightened physical resistance[]
Bultina is extremely resillient and physically strong, as she's capable of singlehandedly resist the grip of a bloodbender, even when being levitated, by use of her sheer strenght and tactical control and knowledge over her own body. She possesses an unusual level of mental discipline and willpower. When subjected to the immediate effects of bloodbending, she was the only one in her group able to retain partial control of her body, allowing her to momentarily break free from the Bloodbender's grip and launch a counter-attack.

- Takeyon & Kimyona Silverfox: It's shown to for her to have a healthy relationship as an obedient, well educated daughter, shown with how she constantly treats them with respect.
- Kosen Silverfox: Her little sister, currently not much is known about their relationship.
Allies[]
- Hikar Firestone: As part of Hikar's close childhood friend circle, Hikar shows deep appreciation and affection towards her since the beginning. When Hikar finally finds the courage, in 254, he asks her out to be his dance partner in the school prom; she, in a relationship with Tao Tenba, rejects him, causing there to be some small distancing.
- Kensi Firestone: There's always a small rivalry between them and don't always seem to angage well, as Kensi always manage to pull on her nerves.
- Nikumi: Likes to snuggle his crust every now and then, but she doesn't seem to be a fan of riding him.
- Denryoku: They were good friends in the past, and enjoyed teasing Hikar together as their best friends. That was until he unfortunately died in a car accident.
- Shaila Yakuto: She considers her her best friend and the seem to get along very well.

Trivia[]
- Bultina comes from the name Bulti (बुल्टि), which is alleged to mean "god child" which in japanese and chinese is 神子 (Kamiko/Shénzǐ). Her middle name 櫻 (Sakura) means "Cherry Blossom," and her surname 銀狐 (Gingitsune/Yínhú) means "Silver Fox."
- She was originally set to be an orphan, but was later changed to have a better background story, as well as a sister.
- She's one of the few known natural ginger-haired characters in the world, another one being her sister and her mother.
- The ginger hair is said to be a signature physical trait of the Silverfox bloodline, and its taken its inspiration from the Uyghur peoples in Xinjiang and Mongolia, the culure the Silverfox family is majorly based on.
- Bultina is the fifth known person able to break free from a bloodbender's hold and the first and only non-bender to do so; and not only to just break free, but to continuously keep her bodily autonomy while in the same grip and while being levitated.
- It is later revealed that this was trained by physically resising earthbending attacks from he mother during training.
- She's one of the few characters whose personality and physical appearance were inspired by other various fan-arts instead of setting an established role. And the only character whose design was changed from scrap during the rewriting.
