Bubi is a former member of an unnamed sandbender tribe who resides within the Si Wong Desert. During his childhood, he spent his days riding around the desert on sand-sailers and stealing different kind of objects by using his sandbending techniques. He emigrated to Zaofu after he discovered his metalbending abilities. At the moment, he is the owner of a small inn in Zaofu and due to his neutral affiliation, he works as an informant for certain persons who pay great amounts of money for information.

Bubi is a skilled earthbender. He can create walls of earth for offense and can sink his opponents into the ground in order to immobilize them. Bubi can also turn certain surfaces to quicksand as a way of trapping the ones that attack him.
Sandbending[]
Because he was born and raised as a sandbender, Bubi is also proficient in manipulating the sand, an alternate earthbending style. Like most of the sandbenders, Bubi can compact the sand to be thick or solid and he can use it to form a sand spout to move his sand-sailer through the Si Wong Desert. He also uses the sand to transport/move the objects he steals under it without being seen by the others. On each of his arms, which are covered by the long sleeves of his clothing, he wears a thin layer of sand, which he uses as a weapon, allowing him to defend himself from a sudden attack or make a quick counterattack. If necessary, and if he is out of sand, Bubi can create more of the loose granular substance by breaking down the earth under his feet.
Metalbending[]
Bubi is proficient in the art of metalbending and, like the rest of the Metal Clan, he is able to bend small decorative items worn for personal adornment, such as rings, necklaces, earrings, brooches, etc. in different shapes and forms by using one hand, various damaged, shabby products based on the solid material while combining them with gemstones.

- His name comes from the indigenous population: Bubi from the Bioko Island. Etymologically speaking, the term "bubi" was derived from the bubi word "boobè", which means "man".
- The name is also a reference to the tertiary antagonist: Bubi from the game: Wolfenstein: The New Order. In German, his name translates as "little boy".
- In order to keep his young appearance, Bubi uses different anti aging methods such as:
- Herbal bathing solutions, using floral or herbal products to lubricate the skin without clogging pores
- Steam treatments
- Mud treatments
- Oil/creams body massages
- Yoga routines to enhance health, strength and youthfulness
- Skin masks
- He also dyes his hair black and cuts it monthly.
- Bubi is a LGBTQIA+ individual, and he identifies himself as bisexual. He also tends to flirt with youngers of both sexes and sometimes boasts himself with his latest "catches".
