Biehe was an unnamed character until he was introduced in Chapter 5, now he will appear as a minor character in Avatar: Civil Strife.

History[]

Biehe is first introduced in Chapter 5, where he complains about the live-round course. He makes negative comments about the exercise. Shuaige mentions this is the first time since day one that he's complained about anything. Biehe runs the course like everyone else but about a quarter in he crawls on the grass until he reaches the finish line. When Biehe finishes it, everyone begins to laugh at him because he wet his pants during the training course. Biehe is around Zuqiu's age but he's also the only recruit in the company that's sixteen-years-old. Biehe has a similar personality to Zuqiu however, Biehe seems to be more of a pansy than Zuqiu.

The Ambush[]

Biehe and the others woke up the next morning to retrieve the shipment that needed to be delivered. They spent a total of almost two days delivering the goods to Taiyuan, the capital of Pingyao province. Along the way, Captain Qishi's company ran into the hands of the champion of the Meng, Gan and his brigade. Who furthered themselves into enemy territory, Qishi's group was ambushed by Gan, when an archer killed an earthbender on ostrich horseback. Captain Qishi's company initiated battle after this ambush and they fought with little to no injuries. When Avani triggered her Avatar State and unleashed an earthquake, causing fear into the hearts of the barbarian soldiers and their leader. During that time Fangzhu attempted to assist the Avatar with helping create stronger winds to blast the enemies away. Gan's brigade fled with only one hundred of them remaining to sacrifice themselves in a distraction. Avani killed half of them solely while the rest fled, Shuaige ordered her to cease the fighting and banned her from confronting them alone.

Studying To Heal[]

When Biehe and Wei brought Taobing to the sick bay within the southern Tusuzu Sector, he saw the astonishing talent that Aunt Bai had when she made a cast from dead corral. He was fascinated with this skill and questioned the healer further, she offered her class later in the afternoon. He returns to the hospital later in the day, where he comes under the tutelage of the old woman. He and others learned the different effects of the crystals provided in the coffers they were given. Biehe had an easy day when it came to bending the crystalline materials unlike some of the other students.

Aunt Bai paid more attention on him when he thoroughly questioned his patient who's finger was broken. He understood her more and tried his best to heal her based on her answers. He was awarded Student of the Day, which allowed him to take materials back to the barracks. Days later, Captain Qishi requested General Da sign a financial aid contract for Biehe. The military in Pingyao pays for his healer education, giving Biehe more resources. Aunt Bai has personal one-on-one lessons with Biehe in the future, she improves things around the sick bay.
