Battles is the third "shipping week" participated in by Fruipit, and the second one to feature Tokka. It is hoped that the chapters will follow a set storyline as opposed to being separate one-shots, but as it's still a WIP, that may change.
Plot[]
Sometimes sacrifices have to be made to save someone more important than yourself. It doesn't mean they have to like it.
There are only a few things that Sokka regrets: leaving his father after the failed invasion, or the way his relationship with Suki completely disintegrated (not that he wasn't happy for her. She and Zuko deserved each other). But, leaving an injured Toph to face hoards of bandits on her own while he escaped?
Yeah, that one is gonna cost him...
