"Aunt" Bai was an unnamed character until he was introduced in Chapter 5, now he will appear as a minor character in Avatar: Civil Strife.

History[]

Bai's grandfather ran the sick bay in the southern Tusuzu sector for several decades. When Bai was 12, he took her under his wing and taught her to use her earthbending to heal instead of for fighting. While the men fought in the civil war they needed someone to heal them when they came back. The history of crystal healing dates back to before the rise of the unified Earth Kingdom, it is an ancient art.

Bai was an apprentice for 9 years, at the age of 21, she mastered the skill. A year later, her grandfather passes from natural causes. After his death Bai inherits her grandfather's sick bay. 47 years later, at the age of 68 she's made quite the name for herself and has spread her grandfather's knowledge to others around Taiyuan.

Abilities[]

Bai was born an earthbender however instead of using it to defend herself she was taken under the wing by her grandfather and became his apprentice in crystal healing. She's studied alchemy and crystal healing for over forty-seven years. Eventually taking over her grandfather's sick bay and passing on her knowledge to goal-driven potential healers who want to learn the sub bending form.
