Indik was the successor of Avatar Sherpa. Though Avatar Sherpa and Alumen's (her predecessor and successor respectively) time as Avatar was marked with peace and success Avatar Indik's time as Avatar was marked with chaos.
History[]
Indik was born in the Northern Water Tribe in 2,553 BG (2,553 years before the Air Nomad Genocide). Her dad was a general commanding the entire security force in front of the Great Wall, and her mother owned a cuisine restaurant. Because two-thirds of the family were not waterbenders except her and father her parents wanted her to focus on waterbending and not on spending their wealth. Because of this her parents brought the best teachers in the city to come teach her.
At age thirteen she mastered waterbending and would make earthquakes when she was upset. So, her parents contacted the White Lotus. When it was found out she was the Avatar her parents had different approaches, her dad was happy while her mother was scared. They agreed not to tell her till she came of age. But when she was sixteen her celebration was cut short by the invasion of the Northern Water Tribe by the Southern Water Tribe. When her father was called to action her mother took her to hide. When her father failed and died her homeland was taken over she fled the country to hide in the Earth Kingdom to master earthbending. (Read book one to experience it step by step).
Personality[]
When Indik was young she was arrogant but after the capture of her home she became more responsible. Arrogant or responsible she has always been kind and NEVER afraid to speak her mind. Indik can make bad decisions for selfish reasons but strives to make things right. She can be naive and sometimes too kind but always fixes things.
Appearance[]
Indik has black hair tied in a ponytail much like Kya (Katara's daughter). Indik wears a dark blue coat with a moon and wave. Under the coat she wears a light blue shirt with dark blue leggings. She has tortilla brown skin with cerulean eyes. She is 5'4.
Abilities[]
Waterbending[]
Indik mastered waterbending at a young age before she left her tribe. She mastered waterbending enough to hold her own against some of the best waterbenders.
Earthbending[]
Though it is not her element due to being Avatar she mastered it and she got the hold of it before leaving the Earth Kingdom.
Firebending[]
Firebending was hard for Indik. She was frustrated and angry not being able to master this.
Airbending[]
Airbending came easily to her and Indik only spent four weeks in the air temples (a week each).
Trivia[]
- Indik loved Air Nomads and wished to retire to the air temples when she came of age.
- She never knew of her fathers death until she went to the Fire Nation.
- If she knew what happens to the Air Nomads she would be so heartbroken she would fall into depression.
- Indik died at age 94 in 2,459 BG in her sleep.
- Though she hates stubbornness, she never realizes when she is being stubborn
