Princess Aura is the first child and elder daughter of Aang and Toph and granddaughter of the late Lao and Poppy Beifong. She is a dominant dual airbender and earthbender and the first character to be born of air and earth.
She lives on Air Temple Island with her parents and two younger siblings: Tempest, and Celeste. Possessed of an avid interest in books and quiet in general, Aura is the youngest known airbending master and has a natural affinity with spirits; she was one of only a handful of humans who could communicate with and perceive spirits in the physical world. Like her cousin, Saoirse, Aura was born ten years after the end of the war.
History[]
Early Life[]
Aura as a young child before getting her mastery tattoos.
Aura was born in the city of Gaoling at the Beifong Estate to Aang and Toph Beifong at dusk. From an early age, Aura was fascinated with the spirits and learning about her culture; she was a really fast learner and gained her airbending tattoos at five years old, the youngest in history to do so.
A generally creative person, she was able to integrate airbending styles into her earthbending and vice versa with her airbending. Aura was raised to be kind, caring, selfless, and thoughtful of others. When she turned three, she was joined by her younger brother, Tempest, and when she turned five, Aura and Tempest were joined by their younger sister, Celeste.
