Akari is a teenage airbender residing in Republic City. She is an airbender through her ancestor Rizu, who ran away from the Air Nomads as a teen. He thus was able to escape the genocide, and raised a family, passing down the airbending gene generation to generation. Akari has a kind but stubborn personality, and is determined to save her sister from Equalists at all costs. Even if it means disguising herself as one.
History[]
In 170 AG, the Triple Threat Triad attacked her and her sister, and attempted to steal some of their recently purchased water for bendables. After being rejected, they suggested that it was either the water, money, or they got hurt. Akari's sister, Isra, dared them to do their worst, and promptly engaged in a fight with them.
Isra would have lost the battle, had it not been for Akari to knock them all onto their backs with a blast of wind. She then cuffed them to the street and left before the cops could arrive on scene.
Later, after the two had eaten dinner, Akari discovered that her sister had been kidnapped.
Personality[]
Akari is generally a kind person, and she doesn't usually like to engage much in others' affairs. However, she can be very determined; whether to master a new skill or to attempt to rescue someone in need.
Abilities[]
Akari is an airbender; though not one of great skill. She does however have the flexibility and fighting style of the rest of the airbenders; and is determined to one day master airbending.
