Aiya was born in 195 AG to am Unknown man and Asami Sato. She was raised by her mother and step mother Korra and grew up alongside her step-sister, Sakura, two years later. In 199 AG, when she was just four years old, Aiya step mother Korra passed away.
Aiya became overwhelmed with the pressure her mother placed on her. In 215 AG, Avatar Zhengyi and his twin sister came to Republic City, where she fell in love with the avatar.

Aiya was born in 195 AG in Republic City to Asami Sato. She was also Korra's step daughter, though always thought of her as a real mother. Korra and Asami wanted to have children biological instead of adopted them. Asami was the first to have a child, with a donor father. She traveled to the Fire Nation to find one.
Aiya's step sister Sakura was then born two years later. The small family lived happily together. However, in 199 AG, Korra died in a a confrontation with the Triple Threat Triad and Agni Kai Triad. Aiya was around her little step sister who knew nothing of her mother, and her own mother who was depressed due to her wife’s passing. Aiya, despite this hard time, tried her best to be good and help out. Asami, in her grief, had started to place more pressure and things for her to do. Aiya didn’t like these things, however endured them. She joined a Private Academy and became apart of the “Fire Sawn Ballerinas”.
In 215 AG, Zhengyi and his twin sister Jiu came to start their training. Aiya fell in love with Zhengyi, and eventually became apart of his Team Avatar. Zhengyi and Aiya got married in 220 AG, and had a daughter Aiko in 224 AG. After her husband’s death, she took over her mother’s bussiness.
Personality[]
Aiya is a sassy, headstrong, bold and ruthless person. Aiya can have trouble standing up for herself and telling the truth to others. She can also be very shy and let others do things for her.

Aiya discovered she was a fire bender and was shocked as her mother was a non bender. Aiya excelled in her studies with Firebending and became one of the most well respected fire benders.
