Aisling Soren was a submissive airbending master, the Avatar immediately succeeding Avatar Roku and predecessor of Avatar Kuruk. She is also the Air Nomad Avatar successor of Avatar Yangchen. Aisling was the best friend of Aang, her brother in all but blood and the new Avatar's airbending teacher, but had no children as she died at a young age, although it is unknown when exactly she died.
History[]
Aisling was born at the Western Air Temple to two unknown Nomads before being taken in and raised by some of the nuns at the Temple. Throughout her life, Aisling practiced her bending, and became an airbending master at 11 years old, one of the youngest masters in history.
However, Aisling never got the chance to learn the other elements, as per her duty as the Avatar, as she passed away from illness in 18 BG. She was remembered fondly by Aang, who she loved just like a younger brother
