Aang and Katara
Aang and Katara were a married couple and the parents of Bumi, Kya II, and Kiallera. Through Katara, they are related to the Fire Nation Royal family due to Katara being the sister-in-law of Fire Lady Zuko. They are also the grandparents of Yelihn, Khiyanneh, Zara, and Rillue through their youngest daughter.
The couple's happiness didn't last long, as he soon passed away, leaving Katara as a widow.

Katara[]
Katara was the daughter of Hakoda and Kya, the leaders of their village at Wolf Cove, and had one older sibling: a brother, Sokka. Like him, Katara was a waterbender, but had a harder time grasping the basics of their art since she had the temperament of a firebender.
Aang, the last Air Nomad
Aang[]
Aang was the only known child of two unknown airbenders and the current incarnation of the Avatar; with his previous incarnation being Roku, the great-grandfather of his brother-in-law Zuko. After being frozen in the ice for 100 years, Aang awoke to a world ridden with war and it was up to him to defeat the Fire Lord and restore balance to the world.
