38th Earth King Avanindra is the Earth King, the ruler of the whole entire Earth Kingdom, ruling from the capital city of Ba Sing Se during Avatar Ilah's, and short time during Avatar Kwan Chun's life time. He makes an appearance in Avatar: The Legacy of Rong Yan.
History[]
Earth King Avanindra was 39th Earth King Yao's father, nephew to Avatar Xi Tong and the first Earth King of the Qiangda dynasty. Earth King Avanindra's time of rule was a peaceful era for the most part until his death. Xi Tong's daughters denied the throne and never rose to power they remained noblewomen and supported their husbands. During his later life, Avanindra, is diagnosed with a heart condition which eventually kills Avanindra. His untimely death led to the rise of Earth King Yao, his son. Yao succeeded Avanindra and became a tyrannical ruler.

Earthbending[]
Avanindra, was born an earthbender, and discovered his abilities at the early age of four. His mother had him directly put into training. At the age of 15, Avanindra, was already known as an earthbending master.
Avanindra, even sometimes instructed the guards when the real instructor was ill or away. He did join the arena in Ba Sing Se, and was always a winner. Not because, he was royalty but because, he had extremely fantastic skills at earthbending.
