"It's on the island of Noneya. None-ya business!" |
— One of the boys to Team Avatar.[1] |
These earthbending academy teenagers were two boys who attended classes at Master Yu's Earthbending Academy. Enthusiastic about Earth Rumble VI, the pair appeared to be friends, or at least acquaintances.
History[]
While leaving Master Yu's Earthbending Academy, Team Avatar overheard the two boys praising Earth Rumble as the best earthbending competition in the country. When the team asked about what it was and where it was held, the boys refused to tell them, proceeding to laugh cruelly at the group and walk off. Katara ran after the boys and came back with information about the tournament. When asked how, she replied, "A girl has her ways." As it turned out, she had left them scared, heads locked together and frozen up to their chins in ice.
The team later returned to the academy after the tournament to find out who the mysterious Blind Bandit was, and the teenagers recognized Aang as the boy who had beaten her. They at first did not provide any information, but after Katara threatened them again, they shared information stating that the flying boar Aang had seen earlier in a vision[3] was the symbol of the Beifong family. The team later used this information to track down Toph Beifong after Sokka ended the conversation by saying "Water Tribe".[1]
Personality[]
Both students appeared to be quite obnoxious and egotistical. They displayed a nasty attitude toward Aang when asked about the Earth Rumble VI tournament, teasing and poking fun at him. They did, however, also appear somewhat cowardly, growing particularly intimidated in Katara's presence.
