Beasts of the Four Nations: Creatures From Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra is an art book which was planned by Dark Horse Comics. The collection would include images and information about the many types of animals that inhabit the world of Avatar. The book was supposed to be released in two editions: a hardcover version and a deluxe edition.[1][2]
In December 2022, Dark Horse Comics notified comic bookstores that Beasts of the Four Nations had been cancelled for the time being, though it was planned to "reoffer the title at a later date".[3]

Part of what everyone loves about the Four Nations is all the strange and wonderful (and sometimes scary!) creatures that inhabit them! From the Air Nomads' flying bison, to Kyoshi Island's elephant koi, to the Earth Kingdom's singing groundhogs and the little purple pentapus, look to this hardcover collection for images and information on Avatar and Korra's creatures large and small, including many from the spirit world!

Trivia[]
- On the cover, the original benders of each element are depicted on the corners. However, since the moon is the original bender for the element of water,[5] a polar bear dog, alongside Tui and La, are shown to represent the Moon, the Ocean, and the Water Tribes.
