Outlook

Hows the new Outlook for you guys. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 09:55, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

I at first hated the table idea, but gre to like it once it got filled out, now you are adding specialties? I think simplicity is really enough, people don't need our life stories just to know who we are in case one needs to be reached felinoel ~ (Talk) 07:42, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

It will help them get in touch with the right people. Remember the link about colors you gave Fire Lord Kuzon? It was the wrong link. You should have given the Help:Colors link. I knew that because of my specialization in Templates and the fact that I made that page. Many problems can be easily solved now. If you dont have a specialization then write None. Its as simple as that. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 07:56, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

"Wrong link?" It was a perfectly fine link, it did everything that other page did except my link had more colors on it, and I was considering adding maintenance and templates before I realized this is making the page too large and unappealing felinoel ~ (Talk) 08:11, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh Okay. Hey Hey... Stay away from the Templates. Thats my domain. I wont have you upstaging me in that area. Stay away from making templates okay? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 08:28, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

I know I know, you and only you are allowed to make templates, thats the reason why the only one I made was just an edit of an already made one, but the thing asks for "Specialities," not what we do here. felinoel ~ (Talk) 08:37, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Ok then I'll remove it. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 10:29, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

No Biggie. Satisfied? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 10:31, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Zero, did you seriously just tell another admin to say away from something that was your domain? First of all, you have absolutely zero right to have a domain or tell another user, let alone an admin, to stay away from something. Second of all, I cannot believe how much bickering goes on in a wiki based on a show on Nickelodeon. I've seen how you interact with other users, Zero, and I'd noticed that you seem to see adminship as more of a position of authority than someone with more abilities to keep the wiki running, which it is. I would strongly advise you to view the position a little less highly. Howabout1-(Talk) 13:20, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

...Umm I thought about what you said. Thanks Howabout1 for knocking some sense into me. Felinoel, I'm sorry for what I said. I appologise most humbly for my actions. In hindsight I see I was a bit of a jerk. I'm sorry for that. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 14:11, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Protection

This page should be filled in with a list of admins on this site and then protected.

It sure should, but it looks like there will also be a lot of junk added, oh well. felinoel ~ (Talk) 08:37, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Templates

Pages

Should we create pages for characters that we know to exist but have never been mentioned? Someone like Iroh's wife, or Sozin's wife. Obviously, we have to be careful so we don't go back generations with characters who have never been mentioned, but some unnamed people seem important to the development of the story, because if they don't exist, certain things never would have happened. I've noticed it's something they do on the Harry Potter Wiki. Puragus - Talk 16:28, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Not sure if we should... If the character had a relevant role in the plot, I think we could do it, but not for every single mentioned or unnamed character, it would be like Than's sister all over again, but if, and only if the character is worth making an article about, we should do it. Omnibender - Talk 22:03, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Is it just me...

...Or has the editing died down substantially? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 09:58, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Its because there is no new information to be added since the show has ended. Scott (Lets Chat) 14:23, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

I know but still... File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 17:51, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Well there is still the occasional vandal, but if you want new pages watch the episodes for mentions of animals, like the snail-sloth, I don't think that has a page yet, I was planning on making it but forgot I guess... felinoel ~ (Talk) 18:34, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

I was surprised we were getting the number if edits we were, after the finale. It was twice as many as we were getting even while we got new information. And I was surprised it stayed as high as it did, for so long. It's only natural traffic's going down to pre-finale levels. Still, I think there is work to be done. Puragus - Talk 20:28, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Yea even when the movies come out there wont be that much info since the plot(s) are the seasons. Who knows in 2 years nobody might even remember this wiki... Scott (Lets Chat) 20:54, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

If the movies do well, Avatar's not going to die out. It would become a much bigger franchise. So this wiki might be here for a while. Plus, there's also the new series/mini-series/tv movies, or whatever it could be coming up. If there is one in the works, I've heard so many different things. Puragus - Talk 21:23, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Wasn't there supposed to be a miniseries coming out before the live-action movies? felinoel ~ (Talk) 20:15, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

I've heard different things; a miniseries, animated movies, a new series. I personally won't believe any of it until I hear something from an official source. Puragus - Talk 04:00, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Another One: Is it just me or have the amount of vandalisms increased in the past few days. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 03:54, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, usually we only get about a vandal a week, but there's been like one vandal a day for the past three days. Puragus - Talk 04:00, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Looking into the future

What to do?

I know it will be a long time before we have to worry about this, but I figure it's never too early to talk about it. Are we going to keep adding information to this Wiki when new material comes out? If there ever is a new series/miniseries/animated movies, are we going to add the material to this wiki? And what about the films? If the plot differs enough from the series, will we create separate pages for all the characters and such? Will we add it at all, or will we make new wiki's for this kind of thing? (Maybe the answer's obvious and I'm asking a stupid question, but I don'r really know how it will work.) Puragus - Talk 18:53, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

For the characters, I think all we would need to do it make a section "Appearances in other Media", and there we could put not only the movie related changes, but also video game and TCG. I think that for differences in the plot, a section in the movie article would work best, cause this way we'd have to edit only one page, instead of going to every article in which there's a change in the plot. Omnibender - Talk 20:50, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

I for one am not leaving this wikia. And I agree with Omni's Assessment. There is still much to be done here. And It's no real need to make a different wikia for the movies alone. We already have this one. It'll suffice. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 09:37, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

I notice, though that User:ChaosMaster16 has started a new Wiki for the stuff in the future. Is anything going to come of that, or is everyone all just going to keep editing on this wiki when new stuff comes out? Puragus - Talk 17:10, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

I plan to keep adding things here. Omnibender - Talk 19:39, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. I've already told him that there is no way I'm leaving this wiki. Besides the name's too long. I'm not gonna waste my time and energy writing all that down in the address bar. We have a solid thing going. I'm not gonna abandon it. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 05:52, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I mean, I visited other Wikias, and we appeared on the Wikia Spotlight. A lot. Omnibender - Talk 16:35, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

See... we dont need to make another wikia. We can do everything here. Where there is a will there is a way. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 06:02, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, that settles it then. Thanks for answering my questions. Puragus - Talk 15:13, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

The History Section in the Character Pages

I think that we should rename it as "History in the TV Show" or something. The Movie's Storyline will be different (It's always differnet, even if slightly so) and we will need to make a History section for that as well. I just thought that it would be better if we discuss this now rather than later. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 10:27, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Hellllllllllllooooooooooooooooo. Come on guys. We're gonna have to talk about this sooner or later so why not sooner? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 11:11, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

I propose we move this to the Community Portal, so the whole community can get in on this. Also, I propose we make the character pages disambig pages, with each page leading to the movie and cartoon versions of the characters. For example, we would have the current page for Aang be renamed "Aang (TV Series)", then we's have the page for the movie version of Aang be "Aang (Movie)", and have the page "Aang" be a disambig for both. Puragus Talk 23:59, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

Kevin

Tell me that im not the only one who thinks that Kevin is causing problems on this wiki because he is bored. I think that he should be banned just for 1 week since he has already been warned numarus times by almost all of us. And he is on probation. Let me know what you guess think. Also lets not talk about this on any other pages so that Kevin will not start a giant arguement. Scott (Lets Chat) 22:39, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

He keeps saying he'll improve himself, but he keeps disrupting things where he shouldn't. It would be one thing if his only crime was making crappy edits, but he disrupts discussions and seems to have no ability to just keep his head down and edit and try to improve things. Now, he's requested a new Avatar Wiki when we've all agreed that no such thing is necessary, and Howabout is already trying to get rid of the other new Avatar Wiki. After a while, enough is enough. Puragus - Talk 22:59, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Ya, its so many little things that add up. I'm not sure were at the point of blocking yet, though. One more major disruption, and I'll block him. Howabout1-(Talk) 23:05, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Wow, I posted that before I saw that he recreated his spam article about the new wiki twice. Ill block him for two weeks. Howabout1-(Talk) 23:15, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Can I block him? Scott (Lets Chat) 23:16, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

You could if I didn't just do it. Sorry if you wanted to. Howabout1-(Talk) 23:17, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

I don't know about you, but only the KevinAvatar account has been blocked, and I'm blocking the other one. Omnibender - Talk 23:50, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

It wont make a difference, its the same ip address so he wouldnt b able to go on. Scott (Lets Chat) 00:00, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

He's still making edits. How is he doing that if he was blocked? Puragus - Talk 00:20, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

If anything we undo Howabout1's somehow faulty block, block him again and hope that this time it sticks. Omnibender - Talk 00:25, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Apparently, we can't stop him from editing his own talk without protecting it. I don't want to do that, in case he ever has anything valid to say. However, anyone for adding another month/6 weeks onto his block for continually removing the tag? Howabout1-(Talk) 03:09, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Can't he log in on a different computer if he is just ip blocked? felinoel ~ (Talk) 03:33, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

He can't edit from that user name. He'd have to register a new name or use just the IP. We wouldn't know it was him. Howabout1-(Talk) 04:04, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Well then he can just log in on a different computer, doesn't seem too effective... felinoel ~ (Talk) 04:19, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

We can block that IP too. I doubt he has access to more than two IP's. He is advertising for the new wiki he made, so I'm blanking and protecting his talk. I won't add time until I get a couple opinions. Howabout1-(Talk) 05:14, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I could get on a minimum of literally a hundred computers... felinoel ~ (Talk) 07:09, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I couldn't. I honestly don't think Kevin is so dedicated to posting his spam that he's going to go to every library in wherever he lives and every friend with a computer he knows. And even if he could, what are you saying? That we should just give up and let him edit? Howabout1-(Talk) 14:37, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Kevin's history speaks for itself, has he ever done something genuinely helpful on this site? If it's up to me, we should let the block run its course, and if after that he keeps acting like he does, we block him permanently. Also, if he suddenly starts acting very "I agree with you", be suspicious, I saw some edits he made at Lord Momo's talk page about being good and sucking up the admins, you can see it in the page history. Just out of curiosity, is it possible to put a member on watch, like we do with pages? It would certainly be an effective way to keep track of him. Omnibender - Talk 23:46, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

He just created a new account... it must be on a different IP. I blocked that one for two weeks, but should we count that as his last mistake? I'm really all for making this a permanent block, and continuing to block every account that he makes. Howabout1-(Talk) 23:01, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

What if he's using his library, or an internet cafe? We'd run the risk of blocking a lot of casual users. However, as far as his original account goes, yes I'd count this as his final straw. Puragus - Talk 23:09, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, I would say that is more of a threat for Wikipedia than here. This wiki is fairly large for the subject, but I would really doubt we have that many casual users who would find themselves blocked by us blocking an internet cafe. I'll wait for one more opinion before permanently blocking his two accounts. Howabout1-(Talk) 23:11, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I asked a friend of mine at the main Wikia, and he said that we can request a CheckUser to a staff member at the main Wikia to see if the accounts were created from the same IP address, if that's the case, we can block him permanently without worrying about blocking other people, if not, we simply block every account he makes for a couple weeks, we're 7 administrators against one regular user, we'll win this by exhaustion. With the CheckUser we can see "the recent IP's that a user has edited with, or inversely the users that a IP has used". Sounds useful to us. Omnibender - Talk 23:21, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

He can't create new accounts from the same IP, or at least I checked the setting where he shouldn't be able to. I'm pretty sure its a different one. Would you be ok with moving the time limit up to permanent, in light of his new account? Howabout1-(Talk) 23:25, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I say go for it. He been a major pain in the neck. He absolutely deserves it. He never wanted to become admin for the responsibility but for the perks instead. He reminds me of Hahn from the Siege of the North. Let's Do It! File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 03:58, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

All three of his accounts are blocked infinitely. Anyone you are sure is Kevin you find in the future, do the same. He shouldn't be much of a problem in the future. Howabout1-(Talk) 04:06, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Acknowledged. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 12:24, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Howabout1, I think you should check the ban again, I'm looking at the recent changes, and the block has been changed to 3 days. As mentioned above, it is to be changed to permanent, I'm not sure whether this is an issue with the system, or with either of our computers, so I'll try seeing the block log. Omnibender - Talk 16:13, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, it seems its a little simpler than that. I'm pretty sure I just didn't select other when set it to infinite. Howabout1-(Talk) 19:04, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

I think Kevin has returned with a new profile, User:Kevo598, though I'm not sure. It could possibly be a different Kevin, but if it is found to be the same one, we should ban him the second it is proven. I don't want to deal with this kid's bulls**t anymore, he's caused too much harm to the wiki. Puragus - Talk 20:30, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Agreed, let's just monitor him for a while, the moment he mentions request for adminship I'll smite him. Omnibender - Talk 20:56, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, in my opinion, thats the appropriate action to be taken. I'd hate to block someone and then find out that I blocked him/her for no reason. Good call Omni. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 11:18, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, something weird just happened on Talk:Sozin's Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. Check the history and you'll see it. It makes me suspicious that User:Sunbender and User:Kevo598 might be the same person. The write the same way and make the same basic mistakes is another thing. Plus Sunbender says his name is John, which is a bit of a generic name. Not that there aren't people named John, but John is the kind of name you would use if you were on the run from the law and checking in to a hotel. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but it seems suspicious. Still no evidence about whether it is the old Kevin, though. Puragus - Talk 19:59, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Avatar Wiki:Votes for Deletion

If some of you would mind closing the debates on that page, there is a backlog. Decide what the outcome was on anything thats been discussed for a week or so. I would say most of that page can be decided. Howabout1-(Talk) 23:26, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

And, five days later, nothing. These need to be closed, and I took care of it until now. Adminship comes with duties along with perks. If someone doesn't step up and close one or two of the debates soon I will be naming some of you to do it. Howabout1-(Talk) 04:16, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

There's two done. I don't know if the other discussions are decided, but those clearly were. Puragus - Talk 04:33, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. Anything thats been up for 10 days should be fine to close, in general. Howabout1-(Talk) 05:30, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Lee disambiguation

Joey has called my attention to something. Going with our "no rank/title" in the page name, Captain Lee should be moved to Lee, thing is, there's Lee already. My dilemma with this situation is the following: we could make a Lee disambiguation page, pointing either to Lee (The Waterbending Master) or Lee (Zuko Alone), but there's very little information on Captain Lee, to the point I want to do with him the same thing we did with Than's Sister, we got rid of the article and put her info on Than. Which to do? Omnibender - Talk 22:06, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

I think it makes more sense to have names like Lee (Fire Nation Captain) and Lee (Earth Kingdom Boy), since most people are more likely to identify the characters themselves than the episodes they appeared in. Puragus - Talk 03:29, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Agreed with Puragus. Howabout1-(Talk) 03:37, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Me too. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 07:23, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

If that's the case, I think we could do it to the wardens as well, the one from Imprisoned (who already has the episode in the name) and the one from the Boiling Rock. Omnibender - Talk 16:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

I've got no objections to that. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 12:42, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

They commented on the show about how common Lee is as a name, here we see it even with character names xD felinoel ~ (Talk) 04:13, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

New image source

I mentioned it at Category talk:Images but it seems no one noticed so I decided to take it here: while browsing, I came across a site which contains great quality (DVD ones I think) screencaps, including from 316 onwards. Since they have have so many, I was wondering if it was a good idea to replace our image database with their pictures, if our images aren't as good as or better than the ones they have, and if they give us permission that is. A penny for your thoughts. Omnibender - Talk 17:44, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Iroh.org has great images, but not quite as many as some other sites. It's a good idea if you can find an exact replacement for a particular low quality image, but that's not always the case. BTW, We should make a comprehensive list of all sites with great screenshots. Puragus - Talk 21:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Archiving Talk Pages

Perhaps its time we started Archiving Talk Pages like the other wikis. I've already archived the closed and long unchanged/unnecessary discussions of the Talk:Avatar page. If you guys feel its still too early then feel free to revert my changes and delete the Talk:Avatar/Archive1 page. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 16:47, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Of course we will also need to protect the archives (with the sysop settings) so that no one may edit them mistakenly or as vandalism. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 09:31, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Helllllllllllooooooooooooooooo. Any comments? For or Against? Anything? Come Oooooooooooooonnnnnnnnn. Dont make me go all Bloo on ya. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 05:47, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Sure, go ahead, it's a good idea. I can't speak for anyone else, but I thought I was giving you silent assent. My bad. Puragus - Talk 05:57, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Lol. Now what about the others. Do I have to go Bloo on your user pages? I'm waaaaiiitttiiinnngggg. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 08:29, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm not against archiving article's talk pages, but I think it should be done only when it reaches a reasonable size. Omnibender - Talk 00:28, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Or, if the discussions have been closed for a while? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 03:36, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Shouldn't we Protect the Archived Talk Pages? It would be much simpler than appealing to unregistered users' better natures. Simply Protecting them from unregistered users would be okay wouldn't it? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 06:19, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the protecting of archive pages, it makes sure the information stays there. Speaking of that, I must go protect my talk page archives. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 09:18, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

So... anyone aginst the idea, say I. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 10:32, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Bending Pages

User:Henhouse has been removing info from the first paragraph of the Bending Pages. If none of you objects in the next 24 hours I'm gonna revert the edits. There is no harm in the previous data. In fact, its more explanatory than the current data. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 06:15, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

I kind of thought it made things look more concise, but if others disagree...Puragus - Talk 22:13, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

We dont do concise here if we can help it. The other version was way better. User:Henhouse added a lot of info in the begnning of some of the character pages but removed data from the beginning of the bending pages. A serious problem in my view. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 03:35, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

I could be wrong, and I'm about ready to agree with you, but at the time that he made these edits it didn't seem like he removed anything really significant or anything that wasn't said later. Puragus - Talk 06:15, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

He removed terms that have been used on wikipedia and other places like aerokinesis, pyrokinesis also he shortened the first paragraph. Big Nono in big articles. Your views on this? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 07:06, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

I have a preference for nicely worded explanations, so I think that the previous version was better, but I don't see any harm in the current revision, I just liked the other more than I do the current one. Omnibender - Talk 18:17, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Thats it. Thats it exactly. Omni's right. That's what I feel as well. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 02:42, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, okay then, you've convinced me (not that you need my blessing or anything). Puragus - Talk 02:50, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Lol. So should I do it or has someone else already done it? File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 12:48, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Quotes

Normally, I'd just bring up a discussion and make a suggestion when discussing a change in policy, but in this case, I'm just going to state my feelings right out: I hate the quotes that have been added to every character's page. I would like to get rid of them, and set a policy of not adding them.

I feel that if we were to have quotes, we should have ones that perfectly eclipse the character's personality and arc. However, the series does not lend itself to that kind of dialogue, so there are not a lot of quotes that could be used for that purpose. There are exceptions to this, like the quote on Zuko's page now is pretty good, but for the others, like the one on Aang's page, are just some random thing that the character said. It feels...lame. That's the only way I can describe it. Every time I see these quotes, even the good ones, I just roll my eyes because it all feels tacked on. The Pages are better off without them, in my opinion.

Of course, I'd like to start a discussion about this first, but I'd like to voice my very strong feelings right off the bat. Puragus - Talk 19:37, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Hmmmm. I cant say I like the way things are right now. I think that we should remove the quotes from the character pages and make a seperate page for the quotes from the series. The Page could slowly grow as more quotes are added untill they become transcripts or could be like the Avatar Wikiquote Article. That way everyone can be happy. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 13:37, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay At first I thought that maybe... just maybe, putting the quotes on top of Character Pages was a good idea but after seeing the quote being changed over and over again I really think we should remove all quotes to a seperate page. We could create links on the character pages to sections in the Quotes page. What do you guys think? If you agree then I will make the page, the sections and link the section links. If this rapid changing of quotes on top of the character pages continues it can cause conflicts that will be a greater headache to resolve. So? Any comments? Things seem to be stabalizing now. So I'm taking back what I said in the last post. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 06:24, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Me

As you all may or may not have noticed, I haven't been on much. I've been busy. When I came back to this wikia after a year or so hiatus, I never intended to stay as long as I did, in all honesty. I may have spurts of activity again, but for now, pretend like I'm not active. I'm sorry to anyone who has posted on my talk page recently. I assume anything pressing that I was asked to do has been already taken care of. If you need me for anything, let me know in the next couple weeks. This would include opinions on making another 'crat or reopening requests for adminship if you feel that is necessary. I'm still not sure it is, though. Oh boy. If Howabout1 goes out of the picture it might cause more trouble than originally thought. He's the guy who keeps us in line. The power vacuume could have big effects in itself (I might be exaggerating a little but the point is the same). What are we gonna doooooooooooooo????????????? Bureaucrat

It has been suggested that the wiki have another bureaucrat, in case RfA should need to be reopened due to several admins going inactive while I am gone. I would like any admin interested in that position to post an application below, similar to what they did to apply for adminship, but geared towards how they would be suited towards judging others. You have two weeks from this posting date to do so, before I will judge them all. Any admin should feel free to apply, even if they think someone else would be better. Howabout1-(Talk)

A vote would also be nice. That way you can see who the other admins of this wiki trust the most, this is important as trust is an essential part of it. I for one think Omnibender is the most worthy of this position. I know I'm not. As the chinese would say, my blood is too hot. LOL. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 08:44, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Omnibender is the best choice. He's done more for this place than everyone else. Puragus Talk 18:28, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Yea, Omnibender is the best choice for the bureaucrat position. Scott (Lets Chat) 23:37, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Thats what I was planning on doing, but I thought a system like adminship would be better. If hell accept, I'll do it. Howabout1-(Talk) 01:23, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps if all of us ask him. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 04:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I too, would vote for Omnibender. felinoel ~ (Talk) 04:10, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

It seems that Omni has accepted the offer. We have a new Bureaucrat. All Hail Bureaucrat Omni. LOL. File:Zero Sign.jpg - Zero - Talk 11:08, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

MAY HIS REIGN LAST A THOUSAND YEARS, AND MAY DEATH COME SWIFTLY TO HIS ENEMIES! In all seriousness, congratulations. Puragus Talk 00:15, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Omnibender, I now declare you me. I pass you the crown of surrogate founder. Howabout1-(Talk) 04:50, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
