This is the page where formal requests for rollback rights can be filed. Rollback rights enable normal users to use a [rollback] button to quickly revert vandalism from diff pages. It is particularly useful on Avatar Wiki when an admin is unavailable to take bigger action against vandals. The ability to delete article and blog comments is also included. There is no maximum number of rollback users, so if you believe you deserve rollback rights, please do not hesitate to make a request.
Requirements[]
- Strong and consistent history of contributions, though quality is more important than quantity
- History of anti-vandalism and corrective work — undoing or reporting vandalism, or both
- No history of serious blocks due to vandalism or sockpuppetry
Procedures[]
- Add your request under the section "Current requests" and give a concise explanation (no more than a few lines) as to why you deserve and require rollback rights. You must use the sample format that is shown at the top of the edit window when editing the section "current requests".
- Alternatively, another user may also nominate another eligible user for rollback rights. If this is the case, the applicant only needs to say that they accept the nomination. It is not necessary to elaborate any further, as bureaucrats will check user contributions regardless of what is written.
- Note that being nominated by another user bears no advantage over normal requests you make yourself.
- Any comments on the request from others may be posted as per any standard talk page discussion.
- One of the active bureaucrats will consider your requests. Don't be too disappointed if your request is declined. Remember, you can always try again later.

I have avoided rollback rights because sometimes I've been busy and sometimes take breaks from the wiki etc., but I think it is appropriate to request them right now. Aside from contributing a lot on the novels and rewriting some of the most popular articles on the wiki and simplifying info from the comics, I do try to reverse vandalism as soon as I see it on the wiki, so I believe getting rollback rights would help me out in cases of severe vandalism that is harder to undo.Kassilon (wall • contribs) 21:36, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

I was just looking through RC today, saw a ton of undos, and realized that DFT was not a rollback. It goes without saying that DFT is one of our most thorough editors and is consistently adding new information and images to our articles. He's also got an incredible eye for detail. It's been almost two years since our last rollback promotion, I think it's time we added one more person and I can't think of anyone who could use these tools more. – TechFilmer🍍 22:00, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
Done Considering DFT accepted the nomination on his wall, I'll happily go ahead with giving the rights. Just as a general reminder though, the use of the rollback tool remains the exception with the preference being using the undo button with leaving a reasoning. I'd like to join rollback because I'm always active most of the time and am quick to report things. I absolutely HATE vandalism and am pretty mad when it happens. If I join I will not commit vandalism (not like I have anyway) or miss anything that looks and is vandalism or edits. I will also never do anything against the terms of being a rollback user and be carefule to anything that could come across as against the rules. I hope you consider letting me join! - Not done The requirements for getting rollback are that you have a strong and consistent history of contributions (i.e. edits to article) and reverting of vandalism, and I don't see either of these in your contributions, with most of your edits being to your userpage. My suggestion would be to first focus on building up this history of contributions and being involved in the editing side of the wiki, and then consider re-applying at a later date.
