Nomination

I, The 888th Avatar, nominate Vulmen for bureaucratship on Avatar Wiki. In the 10 months since he has joined the wiki, Vulmen has continually distinguished himself as an exceptional writer, editor, administrator and comment moderator. I regard Vulmen as a cornerstone of Avatar Wiki and its current community, and I have every confidence in putting him forward as a candidate for bureaucratship.

No; I don't think I will be changing my activity here should this succeed. And there aren't actually that many differences between a 'crat and an admin. A large majority of it is really user right's management. Vulmen (talk • contribs) 18:50, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

A lot is already expected of me in terms of accuracy and being accountable for my actions. I do not feel this will change. What does being a 'crat mean to me? Title only; really. Responsibility and accuracy are already a part of something I try for. Being a 'crat would, for me, just mean I can perform necessary behind-the-scenes actions in support of 888 as well, able to if necessary perform all the same functions should need be. What I mean by this is; I'll be a 'crat just like 888 - so, we're both capable of the same then.

But seriously...it's just a title. I wouldn't feel any different upon achieving it - certainly not any 'greater.' I'd still be a user just like anyone else. Um, no. No. If you are referring to 888 - I will not be replacing him. I'll be one along with him. If you are referring to the other, retired 'crats...well, when I joined they were practically already gone so I don't feel any different. Yep. :) Then in answer; I feel I should be able to; and have already. The reason for this is that I am here and I am active; that alone makes the answer easier. One thing of his I have not shown the same in, is his java work on the site. I haven't dug heavily into the java behind the scenes code. He did a great job setting the wiki up for the road that it followed down. Now; it just needs further growth and an eye for quality as Legend of Korra unfolds. He's also very good at controling vandalism, and he's very mature on the subject. 13. Strong support — Vulmen is a terrific user. He is caring, compassionate and friendly. Whatever question you have, no matter how small or big, you can always knock on his door to find an answer. He stays cool in the face of argument and always tries to make his points rationally, even if that means having to explain them multiple times. But no matter how kind he is with normal users, he is quick to bring down vandals and he is just in his warnings and blocks. Vulmen has more than my full support on this. Nomination

I, Bassmasta2012, nominate The Bos for bureaucratship on Avatar Wiki. Even though, he's only been an admin for a short time, he has met and overcome the challenges of adminship time and time again. He continues to be an valuble contributor, always making sure that everything is the best that it can be. He has proven himself as an admin, and I believe that he would be a great help to the wiki as a bureaucrat.

I am honored to accept Bassmasta2012's nomination. I've been on Avatar Wiki for 2 years now, and have seen the wiki change in many ways. Each change has helped build me into a top contributor, level-headed debator, and a more well-rounded user. After seeing the immediate turnout, I concede this election to Vulmen. Since this vote was taken out of the need for a bureaucrat, I see no need to further continue the election and deprive the community of its chosen bureaucrat. 3. Neutral — I don't think Bos needs more experience, he has been a fanon Admin for more than a year and that work is more or less similar to the work he does right now. I just still have the same doubts as when you were voted Admin. Although you've bettered, you still are sometimes quick to jump to an official warning and block. 1. Oppose — While The Bos is a strong contributor here, I said this during my vote for him during his adminship nomination. While I believe he is a great guy, he is not as approachable as Vulmen...or at least doesn't seem it at first glance. Also, while I feel The Bos does possess this quality, Vulmen seems more generally truted by the community.
