<p>No I get that. I grew up on the old Batman show So I was use to Conroy's delivery. Bale just sounded like, to quote HOSHE "gargling marbles" it made me laugh most of the time. And I think a lot of people enjoyed Mark's performance of Joker in the show as well.
</p><p>I did enjoy the original Burton film. It set a darker tone for batmen to come. Now the second one, now that was bad. Weird how the Nolan movies made so much more money but couldn't help Beware the Batman take off. Though I think that was more mishandling on DC's part.
