There's a theory that Smellerbee is trans, and that's how I've always seen her.

She would have stayed. Yue is a great character, but her talents don't lie in saving the world. She can't fight at all either, which would definitely be a problem in the Gaang's often dangerous adventures.

I definitely wouldn't go as far as to say Korra's storylines were boring! I thought they were good; ATLA's plot was just a bit better in my opinion.

Korra and Wan both do it in the Legend of Korra. Yangchen's is also visible in the comics. I'm assuming you didn't watch/read those scenes?

There's no reason why they can't. Korra's parents found out their daughter was the avatar pretty quickly, though, and that may have influenced their decision not to have any more children.

Ny'Jeem, I'm assuming you joined here recently too? There is... a lot of slightly heated Azula debates here. Obviously you're free to post whatever, but the Azula defenders may get quite irritable.

In ATLA, yes, but in TLOK it's about Korra, not about Aang and his friends. It's nice to see them make the occasional appearance, but if it focused on the Gaang all the time it wouldn't be The Legend of Korra.

Aang is the Avatar. Korra just is as well.

I know you like Aang the most, but stuff can still be good when it focuses on other characters.

I think that might have just been the Northern Water Tribe? Maybe Kyoshi and the other female avatars were taught water bending by someone from the Southern Water Tribe.

...Why are most of the characters in the poll background characters in TLOK? I love the characters in ATLA, they're great, but if we're doing a poll on Korra characters, shouldn't it include Asami, Mako and Bolin? Aang only appears in flashbacks, and Zuko, Katara and Toph aren't in many scenes either.
