If you had bending, how would you use it in your daily life? Would you use it for simple tasks? Push the limits?
Makes sense to me. When Jeong Jeong talks about the sun, it’s almost as if he’s personifying it, which to me suggests that there exists a sun spirit. Also, the sun seems like to great of a natural force not to have a spirit associated with it.
The Avatar comics take place after the war, some even in the South Pole, and if there’s anywhere Kya would go after the war, it would be there. But since we don’t get a reunion, I’m inclined to believe that she did die as was suggested.
I still don’t think so.
Considering how Yon Rha said, “I’m afraid we’re not taking prisoners today,” I think that it is confirmed that Kya died during the raid.
Update: I suppose it’s possible she found some method of escape, but what would prevent her from going back to see her family if she did?
She hasn’t made an incorrect prediction yet.
Though simple, I think lightning redirection is the most impressive insofar as it’s the first step to dissolving the ideological divides between the different bending styles. Who knows what will come next?

I vote no. But I would like to add that perhaps if Legend of Korra had been more planned-out from the start, it might have better continuity, character development, and perhaps more gradual, stretched out conflicts. Overall I think it’s a good show, but I feel it could have turned out better.
I nominate Kuruk’s ability of being able to create a tsunami without using the avatar state.
I think Avatar Yangchen's invention of creating a vacuum using airbending deserves a nomination. It was unconventional, difficult, and went entirely against the beliefs of her people, yet she used it anyway, because she had to.
I’m not sure that these techniques would become so widespread. They’re portrayed as being very difficult, requiring harsh training or a unique talent. That said, it’s still possible, and the consequences would be very interesting.
Aang would remain frozen for a long, long time. He would awaken to see whatever the fire nation has left behind after the war. Most likely he would try to reestablish the world he knew, after he does wake up.
I imagine that the Fire Nation would spread to all four corners of the globe. Benders of other elements would be eradicated or would be severely diminished in number. Over centuries, the natural development and evolution of political and ideological divides would cause the Fire Nation to fracture into multiple nations. If these political/ideological divisions run across the four types of bending, perhaps the four nations could re-establish themselves in some form.
Oh, right.
@AvatarPhoenixGrey2 Now that’s just mean. Who would want to fight Yue?
Perhaps money is more useful, but the difference between money and bending is that you can get one through very normal means, but the other is the stuff of dreams.
@Korrasami-Catradora Of course, if you show off enough, and in the right places, you can end up making some money out of it.
@Korrasami-Catradora Hey, firebending isn’t so bad. Don’t underestimate it.
I was hoping to be a firebender. What luck!
I think Avatar Yangchen accomplished the most. She created an era of lasting peace and served as an example to her successors.
