Pema prompted Korra go after Mako who was already dating Asami. Opal called Kuvira a 'stray dog', when she was younger which isn't that nice, as Kuvira went through a lot with her parents. And Korra is a bit if a hot-headed girlboss who, especially in season 1, threatened people quite a lot and didn't commit to relationships. Mako cheated on Asami and can become violent. However, Bolin has my vote because he doesn't intend to do wrong and is optimistic and is a caring person.
