Ozai because we got nothing from him, but I do wish Mai had more development. She gets more in the comics, but it would have been nice to see how she changed in the episodes leading up to the betrayal in the show.

I think maybe Zuko thought the asylum would have helped his sister’s psychosis; I think he put her there with good intentions, even though it turned out to not be the right choice.

This was one of my first ships that had no real basis in canon material. I was really young, but I just couldn’t help thinking they would go well together. I prefer it to Mai and Zuko to be honest.
