I think its really important to set up the season but its just not as special as the rest
It really took me until my third time watching to love Korra. I realized I was comparing her to Aang too much and not recognizing that the ways she was different to him werent reasons to hate her but reasons to love her. Korra is awesome! Shes strong, tough, and not only battles insane villains but also has to overcome a lot of internal obstacles, which makes her complex and inspiring.
People love it when Kyoshi and Toph are tough and stubborn but dont appreicate it in Korra. Thats part of who she is and its also part of her journey to become a spiritually sound avatar. Put some respect on her name!

Everyone sleeps on suyin!!! She used her bending and creativity to build Zhaofu and is Kuviras teacher. Shes an earthbending master and is a killer in battle.
No bc the general theory is that its hereditary but not exact genetics; the canon made it seem like Tenzin couldn't have a waterbender. Jinora might have watertribe blood but she got airbending so I think her child would too. However, we haven't the generational effects of mixed families yet so who knows....

As far as I remember, no. There werent a lot of filler episodes bc the seasons were much shorter than ATLA. There is one episode where Mako and Bolin recap things similar to Ember Island Players but it wasn't that great.

@Mvpeterson17 After they Wan split them Raava got smaller while Vaatu got bigger. Later Raava says that light and darkness cannot destroy eachother; even if Raava beats Vatu during harmonic convergence, darkness will grow inside her until he emerges again. What I'm saying is that Raava is at her strongest after harmonic convergence (given shes victorious) because Vatu is only just beginning to regrow to full size.
Reason #1738171 why, if anything, LOK should be the live action.
What people need to understand is that after Raava and Vaatu fight, the losing spirit takes 10,000 years to regain power but always comes back. That means that with Korra, Raava was at her weakest and the avatar after Korra will feel Raava at her strongest. I don’t think it’s fair to say any other avatar could have prevented what happened; I actually think Korra was an incredibly strong avatar given the time she and Raava existed in.
I love Korra and Tahno in the pro bending tie breaker and my other favorite battle is Kya vs Zaheer.
My favorite moment was Irohs entrance, I literally teared up instantly when I heard his voice and almost cried real tears when he came on screen.
One of my favorite characters is Kai, I hope him an Jinora get a spin off series.
This is so sad, I feel for Bryke. I think that if Netflix is taking control in the writing room and changing things, they should make a live action LOK; most of us have rewritten LOK in our own heads anyways. They could write for their mature audiences and it would be easier to cast people 18+ for the roles

Aside from the instance of air nomads after harmonic convergence, I'm asking if a non bender could become a bender through spiritual enlightenment? If anyone born into the air nation was a bender due to their spiritual purity, could someone achieve spiritual enlightenment later in life and gain bending abilities?
