As I've said before, Lucasfilm calls The Clone Wars "kids friendly", and it included torture, decapitation, and much more violent things. But Clone Wars stayed at a TV-Y7 rating, which is what ATLA has. If Nickelodeon had made ATLA like The Clone Wars, it would've probably stayed at TV-Y7
