Honestly i kind of disagree with you. Kira/light was given godly powers and with those powers he chose to free humanity of all evil. This goal is unachievable and in the process everyone could lose their mind. Light was smart enough to hold his own for a long time. If light had become that crazy he would not have been able to go toe to toe with the best detective in the world.
On the other hand azula became crazy on her own. Azula always wanted attention and thought she was better than zuko at everything. That is why she was so jealous of him and his relationship with her mother. She hated her brother for this fact and her jealousy made her go crazy. That is kind of weak.

It is not that people don't like korra it is just that tlok has to live up to atla. People were expecting a lot from korra some were even expecting it to be better than atla it just didn't live up to the previous name
O yeah also just to know this people don't make songs about avatar most of the time they just make songs about anime but they just tried something different but their music is amazing so even if you don't watch anime you can still listen to their music.
