Does anyone else have trouble shipping kataang because of the lack of obvious reciprocation of feelings on katara's part? I mean we have all these great scenes where aang is almost fainting because katara is gorgeous but nothing that shows katara has feelings for him. comment if you disagree or you know what I mean

Well, we don't really know that they are straight, they might be bi, or they might be suppressing it. neither of them have any serious relationships and considering that they are on the same side for most of the show and they only have one fight it's not really good and bad guys.
