Zuko:
He is aiming for a hundred percent completion. Every last collectable so he can get the best possible ending…
…But, he deems casualties unacceptable! So every time he loses pikmin, even if just one of them drowns, he resets.
This makes him take a loooooooooong time to beat the games, as he could take down a bulborb with little trouble, but then he would have to reset because a shearwig snuck up on one of his pikmin.
Eventually he starts getting through a day or a cave sublevel like clockwork and knows EXACTLY where every last enemy spawn point, bomb rock trap, ship part/treasure/fruit/castaway is because he has seen them so many damn times!
It might take him a while, but he is going to beat all of the pikmin games at one hundred percent with the “pikmin lost” statistic staying at zero if it’s the last thing he does!
Sokka:
He is a master of exploiting glitches and planning efficiently to get one hundred percent on the games in the least possible in-game days.
Losing pikmin is unfortunate, but not the end of the world, so he will only reset if he loses at least five to ten at once.
He also makes sure to take down at least one of every enemy because an incomplete Piklopedia would drive him nuts.
Aang:
He tries to get through the games without killing anything (except required bosses) or any Pikmin casualties. If killing an enemy is how he has to get the item, he’s not going to get it.
As expected, this style of play initially results in a lot of pikmin casualties and a lot of resets.
Eventually he gets really good at last minute saves and outmaneuvering enemies.
He might not have one hundred percent completion, but he’s satisfied with how he did.
Katara:
Having watched Sokka play, she has a little bit of prior knowledge of where the collectables are.
While she could pummel the enemies with pikmin to take them down, she would rather keep her distance and blow them up with bomb rocks to minimize casualties among her pikmin. Should she slip up and accidentally blow her forces, she resets.
Of course she would want the best possible ending, so she goes for one hundred percent, which could take a bit because it takes her a while to find that one damn raspberry in the third game!
Toph:
With the help of modifications to make the games more blind-friendly, she is taking her pikmin, and she is going to pummel every enemy between her and her target.
She has very few pikmin casualties because the enemies don’t usually have a chance to attack before she takes them down.
She doesn’t care about getting one hundred percent, she just wants to beat the games.
