Katara is a good character she's nice, she sees the good in everyone she cares about, her character arc makes her sympathetic, and I enjoy the romantic bond she developed with Aang. However I don't really like her as a person she's too serious and doesn't have a good sense of humor( The episode "Sokka's master" even shows she tells bad jokes) I really wouldn't wanna be friends with someone like that

After Korra brought back all the airbenders how would you feel if you were one of them who suddenly got airbending powers. Would be excited or would you be unhappy and prefer to just be normal?

When I fist told my Dad the title of this show he said "Airbending? What's that another word for farting?"

Katara is smart, brave, kind hearted, beautiful, and always does the right thing for her friends and loved ones. She is an amazing character that will live on as long as the fanbase is still around. But in my personal opinion...no I wouldn't date her.

If Katara wasn't already dating Aang I still wouldn't feel attracted to her. She doesn't seem like my type. She is too serious most of the time and doesn't have that big a sense of humor. (As shown in Bitter Work and Sokka's Master) I like girls with a more enthusiastic and goofy personality like Ty lee. Katara is a great character but her heart belongs to Aang
