<p>I don't exactly know how guns work, but i think firebenders can't stop then. Sure, the bullet inside combusted, hence the projectile fires, but the cause of the bullet firing is the gun's hammer(right?) hitting the bullet. </p>

<p>It would make more senses (and make my OTP come true) if it's Jin. It was not exactly a happy memory for Zuko when Azula pushed him and Mai to the fountain when they were kids. But it WAS a happy (or at least, bittersweet) memory for Zuko when he went on a date with Jin to the fountain. The lantern lighting, the smiles, blushes, and kisses would be a far better memory (and a reasonable event to name a child from) for Zuko. </p><p>Mai did break up with Zuko after all. Not that i'm saying they're finished and all hopes are lost for them... They did argue and kiss, changing moods in such a short time during "The Beach". So, i suppose still possible for reconciliation(?) But i doubt that, considering how Mai and Zuko can be insensitive at times... </p>
