<p>I feel like with everything that's going on I find what's left with Azula and Mai's relationship is more interesting than that of Zuko and Mai's...  </p>

</div> <p>That would be another reason why I would think Katara is water more than ice, other than her non-icy demeanor. I would never ship Zutara, but to all those who do I guess steam is a lot better than water, since water is Katara herself. </p>

<p>I think Katara would be less of ice, but more of just water.... She has never really had that ice part of her, she is more "free-flowing" and whatnot, I guess the only time she has really gotten angry was for her tribe or Aang.  </p>

<p>@Hanabi-Chan </p><p>Just wondering what makes Zutara a good relationship for you? I feel like I have never actually asked a Zutara shipper their opinion on the two.  </p>

It's not that simple, since Draco would've killed his dad if he had the chance, unlike Zuko who left it up to the Avatar. </div> <p>I have to disagree with that statement, given that he couldn't kill Dumbledore, a task that could have been considered the largest thing on his mind at that time, given it's importance to Voldemort and the rest of his family, I doubt in any sense he would kill his father- someone he was following and listening to since he was young.  </p>

<p>Just a late reply to Bersarker's question, <span style="font-weight:400;font-size:13.3333px;font-family:Arial;white-space:pre-wrap;">I usually follow canon, as it makes sense, and when people follow some other fanon, just for the sake of shipping and the way they "look" together with no real insight of the story or the characters themselves, to say the least, it's not right. <p>Just wondering... as I look back at my comments where I fight for Maiko (way back) I really do notice at sometimes I was just looking at my opinions rather than facts. In fact what annoys me the most is that back when I was writing these comments I was just 'shipping' them, and I mean I know I had explanations sometimes, but that was back form Ember Island days. Mai and Zuko are really different from then. I still think it's possible for Mai to be Izumi's mom, because maybe when they are older they can work stuff out and understand why they even liked eacho ther in the first place. But that aside they just have different priorities now and it was the dumbest thing to support them like that. Mai is cool by herself, just as Zuko. Back them I hadn't read the continuations (I know I know) and I can't believe how I was ignoring how they are now. I follow what's right and right now Mai and Zuko need a break. I see myself agreeeing with all the people I was agruing against back then! </p><p>So anyways, do you guys know anyway I can like "undo" my earliest comments, or if it's okay to just delete them?  </p><p>I can't go back thinking that I used to be like one of those people that would watch just the show and going around shipping people thinking they were automatically right. Sorry if that was too dramatic, but I really like Avatar and I really need people to know that what I wrote from six months ago is totally not valid. </p>

<p>Oh ok, and yeah I agree, Zuko's wife can is most probably still alive she holds too much weight to not be, and she'll come with many explanations. Just because someone hasn't been seen yet doesn't mean they're not going to make an appearence.  </p>

<p>Well sure, but I doubt that Jet unlike Toph, someone that had as much importance, would need to come back. In fact him dying makes a lot more sense given that he was in peace from his previous troubled self. Him coming back won't have purpose or make sense really. It was concluded that Jet did in fact die. While we might never know <i>for sure, i't wouldn't do much if he was still alive.</i> </p>

<p>Sorry, I was just saying that regardless to Maiko, I've always liked Mai more- so it was kind of a joke. I know every couple have their problems, so I was just saying that. </p><p>Regarless, I don't ship ships just because they look nice and whatever but don't make any sense <i>*coughZutaracough​*.</i>  Don't get me wrong, Mai and Zuko look really good together, but that's not the <i>main</i> reason I ship them. <i>(A big one sure, but definitly not the main.) </i>Reading<i> Smoke and Shadow </i>they seem to be losing a lot of the charecteristics they had in the last Airbender. I'm waiting to see what the writers think, but basically I'm waiting for Mai and Zuko hold together once again, like they always in the end, do.   </p>

The warden was completely submissive when Azula presented herself at the Boiling Rock. I doubt he would side with Mai. Although, it is a bit weird and strangely respectable that he wouldn't think twice about killing her, all the others on the gondola, and himself just to keep his reputation intact. <p>

<span style="font-weight:normal;">It's pretty hard to prove true love to someone if you don't actively try to get their attention. I'm still pretty sure Mai just wants another tool. She has no other motivation for the story besides "loving" Zuko. Giving her extra helpings of partriotic angst for SAS just feels like a cop out for not giving her any real goals to be seperate from any one else in the FN. If she turned out to be sinister (i.e. if we find out she is actually trolling Zuko), then I might find her character a bit more engaging.</span> </div> <p>I can't agree with entirely you on that. Remember on Ember Island where she pointed out that she was always forced to keep her emotions inside her, no matter what. That was why she didn't talk to Zuko for the longest time. Also, why would put her life in danger for a <i>tool</i>? In Boiling Rock she single handedly fought the guards, AND broke from Azula for him too. I don't care if you're head over heals for someone- that takes courage, all so Zuko could be freed. You don't really put that much love and trust in a tool is all. </p><p><i>HOWEVER</i>, Zuko has screwed her over a lot, so if she is 'trolling' Zuko I wouldn't really have a problem... After all Mai is a badass, whom I respect MUCH more than Zuko.  </p>

<p>Yeah.. that's what I think will make sense too, but it'll probably take acute focus, skill, and some sort of dark motive, so I guess that's why no one else has done in so far.  </p>
