<p>I really don't know if it will happen or not, but I would personally really love a series/comic whatever about Iroh's younger years, and about his very first journey into the Spirit World. I feel like they were always meant to say more about it, but never got round to it. </p>

<p>Giving how Nick has been the entire of LOK, this is pretty much the only way that they could end with Korrasami ... we all know Nick wouldn't have allowed a kiss, so best Bryke could do was imply it through the season and with the ending, and trust that the viewers all know exactly what that look between them meant. </p><p>I've avoided shipping anything this entire Book, none of Korra's love interests fit with her, I wasn't a fan of any of them. But I'm glad at the implied Korrasami at the end. Of course there was that little moment with Korra and Mako, but given I've honestly not given a damn about her love interest the last four books, I find myself thinking I'll be very disappointed it Korrasami isn't canon. </p>

<p>Wowzer, WinstonMacdonald, chill out. </p><p>They did the best they could what what they were given, end of the day. Although, I can't believe I had to sit through nearly 10 minutes of Mako's messed up love life *eats own fist* </p>

<p>I liked Varricks tale of Bolin, but otherwise it felt like a stupid waste of time to me! </p>

<p>If it worked then there'd be no need for further episodes ;) We've already seen an element of doubt with Korra after she spoke with Kuvira, she almost believes her. But Kuvira capturing Suyin after the failed assasination attempt will be what spurs Korra to finally stand against her in her usual badass Avatar fashion. </p>

<p>I really don't think it'll happen. Korra has to save the day, and as much as I'd love to see the trio showdown, I don't think we'll see them fighting. </p><p>
</p><p>We'll probably see all three together at the end when we get some big ceromony or such to crown the Earth King, but that's about it. </p>

<p>I don't think she can bend, we need some more badass non-benders in the mix! I, too, think she's bluffing, and suddenly I like Zhu Li a hell of a lot more :P </p>

<p>I don't think we'll see Toph again in this book, tbh. </p>

<p>I think that has more to do with trying to please her mother and dealing with her somewhat vagrant sister than knowing/not knowing who her father is. Plus being dumped by Tenzin. Poor Lin! </p>

<p>I don't think that Lin's father will be as obvious as Satoru. After all the mystery and wondering I'd be really disappointed if it was Satoru. But I do like the idea of Lin's father being someone that Toph put away, though, that's rather juicy indeed. </p><p>Unless it's Zuko ... dum dum duuuuuum. Or Aang DUM DUM DUUUUUUUM. </p><p>I'm a fan of the idea that Suyin's dad was kinda a one-night stand sort of ordeal. Perhaps Lin's dad felt like the real deal, but something happened to break them apart, and I think Toph's nature has something to do with that. </p>

<p>I suppose it depends on who decides his fate. Despite his crimes against the Air Nation I can't see Tenzin, for example, Fogging or executing. But the White Lotus seem considerably more ... pratical, I guess. And given they're the ones he gave the slip to I wouldn't put it past them at all for them to opt for either of those options. </p><p>I guess I just like the poetic justice of him being the only surviving member of the Red Lotus. I mean, he was an interesting bad guy, but I dislike the fella and I like to think he's sat somewhere where he has nothing to think about other than how he got his friends killed. </p>

<p>I doubt we'll ever know, but I imagine it'd be something poetic like dying form a broken heart or such stuff. After realising he couldn't kill Koh without killing Ummi he probably became quite depressed and just gave up. In a completely fictional sense that leaves everyone with the feels. I imagine if Koh had killed him he would have taken his face. </p>

<p>I hope he's not tbh ... Satoru is just that, a fan boy. He's just not that interesting. I can't see Toph continuing a relationship with him for the, what, 16 years between the events of the Rift and the birth of Lin? And then him leaving her after that? Unless of course Toph had an affair with Suyin's father and that's why Satoru left. But then you'd think he'd at least be present in Lin's life. </p><p>But then the skin tone does kinda suggest that Satoru is Lin's father, but skin tone could also hint that Sokka is Suyin's *shrugs* </p><p>I dunno, I guess I just don't like Satoru enough :P I just think Toph would get bored with him long before Lin was born. </p>

<p>Given that a big deal has been made out of Korra moving on and learning from her past fights and enemies, I think it's highly unlikely that Bryke will bring him back in anything other than flashback form. There's not need for it, really. There's only one season left, why waste time on a villain she's already defeated? </p><p>I suppose metaphorically he was still present in the mercury itself, but I think that's all we're going to get. And personally I'm quite glad of that! </p><p>
</p><p>As for killing him off, I like the idea that he's the only one that remained alive (or so we think) from the Red Lotus. He has to suffer his sins, after all, and realising the death of his companions whilst he remains (I assume) with the White Lotus seems a rather fitting end for him. Though it is a shame Korra couldn't take away his bending. </p>

<p>I agree with Dogwalker ... first season I really wanted to see more of the old Gaang, but now we're into the forth and we've finally got Toph I'm more interested in the development of the current characters. We saw enough flashbacks in Book 1 to get an idea of what the Gaang achieved, and we know what Katara and Zuko are busy doing in the world now, and we know Sokka saved Korra. I think Aang's kids and grandkids provide us with more than enough of a link to the old Avatar. </p><p>But severing Korra's tie with the past Avatars, I agree, was a huge mistake. Maybe it's just me, but Korra doesn't feel like 'The Avatar' to me, any more than Bolin does! We always knew Aang was the Avatar, but Korra honestly just feels like another bender. Don't get me wrong, I adore her, but she kinda lacks that ... I dunno, 'something' the past Avatar's have all had. *not being too clear* </p><p>But, then, maybe that's the point. *shrugs* </p>
