So just a legion with some auxiliary aid would have been wiped out in case Kuvira decided to really attack Zaofu, and so would have not been able to protect Republic City, or any other part of the United Republic. Nor if Zaofu was really the first target, nor if Kuvira was simply lying and the United Republic was. It doesn't seems a great military strategy to me. </p>

<p>Sending the United Forces to Zaofu means not having them to protect Repubblic City, that's on previous Earth Kingdom territory as well. It would not have been a smart move to dispatch them away only on the basis of Kuvira's statements. </p>

<p>To me, he will be a villain even longer than Kuvira. I can see a finale with Kuvira reasoning, and he trying to use the spirit vines weapon. </p>

<p>That's probable. Note that the United Forces are currently coming in aid of Zaofu. If Kuvira manages to defeat them, now than they have to operate on her territory, then Republic City will be vulnerable. </p>

<p>As said, Zhu Li started the comedy the exact moment she learned she will be separated from Varrick, as this is the only way to remain around him. </p><p>In addition, Varrick as ever been an asshole. It would be strange she betrayed him only when he showed some sign of improvement. </p>

I'm generally happy with the pairings as they are. Kataang predictable? The pairing of the sons of the leaders of two opposite factions isn't exactly a novelity either.

<p>I think is pretty expected that Bolin will end fighting against  Kuvira. </p>

<p>There are many kinds of villains. From "the man you'll love to hate" to someone whose presence in the show just piss you off. Is an ability of the screenwriters to create a villain whose actions the viewers just want to see. </p><p>However, Zaheer, as a villain, is not so bad to me. </p>

<p>I think they can be considered part of the Air Nation too, not for descent, but for choice. </p>

<p>That's probable. Obviously things were different with her father, but I don't think she, and her brother, are the kind of person who can be easily fooled. After all, they are the rulers of a nation, and they are familiar with the mechanisms of power. But she probably wants to leave Bolin to make his discoveries by himself in this regard. </p>

<p>Sorry man, but still I can't see "hate" in Eska's words. </p><p>I'm not sure if she does (or even will, in the future) hate Kuvira. Eska seems to be the kind of person who can fight for what she think is good, without hating her enemy (obviously is different when someone is "stealing" her actual boyfriend). </p>

<p>And so? </p><p>Eska doesn't hate Bolin. Until now, she simply thinks he obtained what he deserved, and needed. </p>
